Don't gloat until you're actually holding a ticket that has scanned you into the stadium.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

If you've signed up, you should have an email inviting you to the kit launch on Thursday.

This happened to me, so I called the hotline, got someone not Brenda, and they said it had been accepted despite the site saying the opposite.

That happened to me. Error came up but the purchase went through, along with a confirmation email.

I wasn't going to but with the squad we've assembled so far and the new coaching team, I'm hoping for an improvement this year so have renewed my season ticket again. Another 6 months of travel from Palmy to Wellington even though I'm going to miss at least 4 games.

Please don't disappoint me Phoenix.

Always wondered how many others travel down from Palmy for games, there is us 2 and -naz- just moved here.

Had to ring up the hotline to renew mine, we had our seats moved by accident last season. Hopefully they read the note the lovely Jan left in the comments section and move us back there.

Remember you posting the Aisle no had changed on your ticket for 16/17. So did mine, although my lad & I ended up in exactly the same seats. Just assumed I'd been in front of you for 2 seasons, but hadn't noticed in 15/16, as I rarely sat in my allocated seat that season.

We sat in our original seats, they put a block on selling them to the public so we didn't have to worry about anyone getting sold them.

Damn and I thought my trek from Masterton and back for every game was long.

How long does it normally take you to and from?  And does Sunday evening games land you in bad traffic up the coast?  Or do you manage to miss it?

Permalink Permalink

About 1 hour 45 minutes each way. Traffic is normally ok at that time of night on a Sunday. The two lanes helps.

Yeah, it isn't too bad. The big traveler is holeinone coming driving down from Whanganui for games.

They have not found the 2nd away/home game stadium as yet, but the club are working hard on it.

Season ticket prices seem reasonable, if not cheap to me, especially when comparing to the Serepisos pricing.
If renewing prices per match range from $13.00 - $16.90, if new $14.53 - $18.90 depending on the number of "home and away" games
Unlikely to get 13 games at Westpac, can't be less than 10

Renewing: $169.00: 10 matches = $16.90, 11 matches = $15.36, 12 matches = $14.08, 13 matches = $13.00

New        :  $189:00  10 matches = $18.90, 11 matches = $17.18, 12 matches = $15.75, 13 matches = $14.53

Tickets? Tickets? We talkin’ about tickets?

cooks gardens wanganui has very little use in the summer sure they could fit a phoenix game in.

But then the club may actually have financial stability now.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

i have done this in the past trying to get a pre season game in wanganui. i have put david d and the people that run events in wanganui in contact with each other and i believe they still have each others details if they wanted to get in touch.

i tried to get a game going last preseason but was shot down pretty quickly by the phoenix and pretty much asked not to bother. david d then contacted the promoters from wanganui who i had been talking to. i do not know what he said to them but they went cold on me after that so i have given up trying

Everyone else have had their memberships on sale for months, some where even phoning up about renewals a week after the grand final.

That tally is wrong anyway, there are at least 1000 memberships purchased that haven't been fully processed yet and haven't been included in the stats.

Kiwis don't have a history of 'memberships' whereas in Australia it has been around for years and very much of the sporting culture/landscape. Much is made of who is a club's number one membership card - essentially a patron in our terms.

It is a metric that we are deemed to fail in and you'd hope when the current AFA finally get the chop, the new leadership of the A League will recognise all of this for what it really is.

Good example would be the Hurricanes after winning the 2016 Title had 6000 memberships in the 2017 season (including 1400 signed up in the offseason) considering rugby is a religion in this country I would of expected much more to sign up. Goes to show people here turn up on the day on match day depending how there team is performing.
