2017/18 Season Memberships

I rang to check up on my membership (plus the new one I had bought for my mate at the same time way back) on Tuesday. Nicola confirmed it was in the system but she emailed me 2 paper tickets for Sunday's game just in case they didn't arrive on time.
I would highly recommend ringing the Phoenix membership number for anyone who has not yet got their letter/card. They were really helpful.

Our 2 tickets arrived in Palmy this afternoon.

Looks like they had to manually cross out Canberra for the WSW game on the back of every card, that is why the delay in sending them out.

An initiative between the club, the Human Rights Commission, Red Cross, ChangeMakers Refugee Forum and Multicultural New Zealand, the programme sees former refugees in the region being offered a season ticket for the 17/18 season as a recognition of the important role sport plays in building bridges between individuals and across communities.

Perhaps we could introduce them to "terrace humour" by chanting "We love you refos we do" :-)

Perhaps not.

The smiley was meant to indicate it was a joke

The personal touch might be more acceptable : We love refos we do" "We love the refos Naidoo"

Outrage spoiler - it's a joke!

Sanctimonius outrage spoiler : The suggestion to sing it is a joke. i.e. I 'm really not proposing that anyone should sing it

All we want is a decent refugee, a decent...

Or maybe not again.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

FFS, so my sons pass arrived today but not mine! WTF they were ordered in the same transaction. Mine is the main membership - utter shambles!

I get back to Wellington from Vietnam 30 minutes before kickoff. Our house sitter says no season passes have arrived for me and my 2 chums. Can I email someone to have 3 temporary tickets emailed to me? Thanks

Me and my two mates just became members about 7 hours ago. One of them has been going to Phoenix games for ages like me, and has realised what a loss of money it was to not get a membership these past seasons. The other is a rugby player that went to 1 Phoenix game last season and decided to get a pass...

Similar situation, my mates tickets all arrived at my place yesterday (because i've been the ringleader and ordered them all together) but not my ticket. They are normal members and I am a foundation member.

What is the logic in waiting until the last week to send them out

Similar as above our groups normal tickets have arrived but not foundation. Seems we may the "problem". I think I'll phone ticketek today to get emailed tickets just in case we can't get there early to pick up.

Thanks everyone for comments on here as it is good to get suggested solutions

Foundations are usually different designs? Maybe they we're done after the standard design.

I ordered my season membership on wed. I was about to call ticketek to get a paper ticket today, however Ticketek has already sent me a ticket for sunday's game to my email account.

New chant for Season Ticket holders (to tune of Twisted Sister)

"We're not going to Canberra

No, we're not going to Canberra

We're not going to Canberra, anymore.."

The season passes turned up today - Yay!

I got the family pack, 2 adult + 2 kids and I notice one of the adults is 'Family junior' and one of the kids is 'Family adult' :)

Oh well, it all evens out I guess ... now bring on Sunday!

Sadly decided not to renew this season after being members the last 3 seasons. Just too many other financial commitments and things going on at the moment and also we felt like we didn't get value out of it last season with the extra games away from Wellington and various other things coming up meaning we only ended up making it to about half the Wellington games. This season we'll just try and get to the games we can make.

went to the ticketek booth at the stadium today to collect my pass and "pack" - staff very accommodating and was all sorted in minutes. its just a pity that as a foundation member I have to all the hard work - it should be so much easier.

membership not sent out and not at the office today at the stadium. A shambles.

So... turned up Estadio Del Westpac at about 1pm. Not entirely obvious where to go as the marquees were shut but spotted a Phoenix Cravat in a ticket booth window so wandered across to find a couple of very bored staff. Took about 5 minutes for them to sift through the A-C section to find my pass and give me the uninspiring pack, new cravat and member cap, which seems decent quality. The wouldn't let me get anyone elses without the email confo (understandable I suppose) and the person I was with struggle without his email but got there in the end.

1)  Take whatever confirmation you have to smooth the process.

2) Be prepared for a wait. Took 5 minutes with no one else there. They have a lot to sift though. (Unless your name is Aaron Aaronson or Zebidiah the Zebra - if you name is either, come and see me and I will buy you a beer)

I ordered three passes on day 3 of the renewal period in a single transaction. Two arrived in the post, but at different addresses and I have had to pick the other up (Foundation). T

Being a pass holder is supposed to free us from hassle. You make a commitment to the club (Some much bigger than others) and it should allow you to walk in feeling special. Year after year, if doesn't feel this way.

Moan over. Onwards and upwards, new season and all that.

if you have the email from ticketek to confirm your membership purchase from months ago then you're all good - you have this on your phone right?

You should have had some sort of email when you renewed. There again, my email had a postal address on it that they didn't send one of the passes to, so I would imagine the chances of ticketek having the correct email address for you aren't that great. I'm sure you will be fine with "Don't you know who I am?".

Yes... This year the membership process has been a shambles.... Dome admitted that in the pod.... and some was in their control and some were out of their control.... but people need to relax

Some seem to be overly stressed at the situation.... if you have a membership you will be able to get in.... whether it is picking up a pack at the stadium of if it is not there a paper ticket (or in feverish case... climbing the fence).... maybe call membership hotline to get a paper ticket just in case your pack is not there....

Lastly.. I wish I was able to have the opportunity to experience this shambles... but alas, I now live in North Queensland so it is an international membership for me....

I looked for this for last weekend, & can't find it. All I had was email from Debit Success about taking installments

I understand what you're saying, but.....they've had a 6-month off-season. There is no way, even with 1 staff member quitting, that season pass holders should be wondering where their tickets are, 1-2 days before the first match. Remember, this is a club trying to prove its value to the league. This shambles (and with ticketing, its not a one-off) is not going to encourage first-timers to renew, & will possibly have an effect on those who had tickets longer as well.

You could just try your luck with random names and flutter your eye lashes. Try common names for your generation to me more convincing. In my case I would try David, or Michael, or Guy.. Perhaps with a popular surname.. Green or Brown or Smith, or maybe something football related like Cross. I'm not promoting identity fraud here but a little bit of fibbing is better than a trespass order for fence climbing

If Michael Greene uses his own name - he'll be turned away at the gate instantly.

One of the kids tickets was sent to my old address, the other was sent to the right address... mines no where to be seen. Rung up ticketek to get an E-Ticket... nope cant do that have to go to the red booth with ID before the match to get a ticket!!

in comparison i ordered my fishing licence online, got the card 5 days later and before the season started.......

No that was for yesterday, today is:

Sunday: Midday-5pm, from the membership marquees on the concourse of Westpac Stadium.
