#4k4nix - take the Corporate Challenge

Okay team.

Lots of good chat lately over here about how to grow the Zone this year.

One common thread is that when crowds are bigger, so is the Zone. So we're supporting the Nix in their drive to get 4000 season members.

Our part of the campaign is called #4k4nix - it's got it's own special page and nifty (and allegedly phallic) thermometer.

We're going to get regular season pass sales info from the Phoenix, and we're going to chuck rewards in as we approach milestones.

If you have any thoughts about good incentives - let us know!

And start getting out there and adding your +1 to the pool so we can hit 4k.

#4k4nix? 4 Kings for Nix?

I would try to make the rewards predominately focused around (or at least weighted heavily towards) people buying their season tickets for the first time.  Not sure how that would actually be implemented, but there is a risk that people will look at this and think "so I buy a new season ticket and someone who already has one gets a free t-shirt? What is in it for me (aside from the new season ticket)?"

Good initiative, I like it.

I am sure that you have some way of making up a list of people who have bought a season ticket to draw some random names off to hand prizes out to, so I am sure you will be able to cut that list down to people who are buying tickets for the first time/not renewing a ticket.  We have the hardcore of approximately 2,000 who will buy/renew their tickets, so promotions like this should be targetting the other 2,000 we are hoping are going to buy the ticket for the first time (or first time in a while).

But aren't we also trying to incentivise current season ticket holders to get out there and push it with their friends and family? They should also have the chance to win a 5 year-old, surplus to requirements Retro Ricki, shouldn't they?

I don't care, I don't need a new t-shirt. A nice new cardigan or flat cap though... oooh yeah.

Maybe we could make a Frankie Mac-signed flat cap one of the incentives?

Frankie good point re narrowing the list down. We will do some targeted incentives.

Sky axing EPL could help boost memberships (people axing sky sport entirely so not getting to watch nix from their armchair)

Is it just me or 4k is a bit low? What did we have last year?

I personally would be targeting a higher number whether its realistic/achieveable or not.

And the best we've ever had is around 3 or 3.5k.

Somewhat tempted to renew my season ticket and maybe it could be put up for a prize? as I'm most likely not gonna be there for next season.

It's prime seating and you get to consistently be on TV (more than Patrick)

Feverish - I am seriously considering dumping Sky Sports due to that. If the A League was also dumped, I'd have cancelled them today. 

Smithy/Frankie. Frankie has a decent point. One contest for first time ST buyers and one for the rest of us?? You are both right in that it's all about getting new bums on seats or even getting lost souls back to the stadium that they once did. 4k? We can do it! Make it so number one!

Still undecided about renewing or not.

I'm still planning to renew my pass even though I will miss the first half of the season.

Havent renewed yet as trying to add 2 or 3 people
