So we are working with them and a couple of key supppliers including adidas to come up with something a bit different which will hopefully raise a lot of money for Cure Kids. Going forward, intiatives like this and the Capital Football/local football club revenue share are ways we want to rebuild the club. We're not about telling people to come to the games, we're about being part of the community and becoming so much so that people come to games because it's part of living and being a Wellingtonian.
 
Apologies if the execution is not to your taste. But it lends itself well to the charity fundraising for Cure Kids that we will be doing at the game. We work closely with Cure Kids on a number of intiative each year and they are an amazing and inspiring charity doing incredible things. If it means we can raise an extra couple of thousand dollars and make some kids and their families lives better - some of who are facing incredible challenges - then it's been worthwhile.
 
I hope this goes some way to explaining our approach to the Jan 29 game. Ultimately it's all about getting more people to the game and helping out a very worthwhile charity that helps improve and saves the lives of kids all over New Zealand.

Why does it? The charity is excellent of course, and deserves everyone's support.
All I read above is "Blah".
This is still an utterly unoriginal,  crap idea. BTW Marketing Honchos- the best way to fill the stadium is to win games- that is tried and tested.
Also you don't start a sentence with a preposition, but I expect you communications professionals were just testing us......

They didn't TELL anyone what to wear.
 
They ASKED people to get in behind a promotion, connected to a charity, linked to one of the clubs two primary colours.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.
