I live in central Wellington and the weather was absolutely fine from at least midday (the time I dragged myself out of bed). Anyone who used weather as an excuse today should probably just stay in their house forever.

We live in K-Town and it's always a degree or ten cooler than in town.  We came in with rugs and thick coats - didn't need them in the end, but still it wasn't a clear cut call an hour out from the game.

Now, because I was dumb when I moved to Central Hawkes Bay, my wallet said "Mikecj, you know you can't afford a benchwarmer" and I reluctantly gave up my season ticket for the first time.

I would like to go to this finals gig, but knowing what happened last time I would like to not miss out on this.

Any ideas on when tickets will be available?

I'm guessing it'll be next Monday or Tuesday once all the fixtures are set in stone, from memory it didn't take them long to get it all tee'd up.

my mates are sh*tters only one willing to come this weekend the rest say they cannot afford to go to this game and then the playoff next week.

pax hit for the junkies out there 8112 i thought it may of been higher how many others out there are missing this game and going next week instead ?

I know lots of people at work who are going to wait and see what the weather will be like.....quite a few bought for the last home game and didn't go after the "storm bomb"
 
Another day goes by and there is no Nix story in the Doom Post. The club needs to get some stories out there to build up momentum. The cricket test this weekend will distract many sports fans....though the game should be over by Sunday afternoon.

was that dompost story just a crock? Pax is very slow, certainly doesn't look anything like the 20k they're predicting

im disappointed, weather, the GC debacle game, and our home loss to roar have all combined to scupper the momentum i thought was building - if other things had gone our way this could've been the 2010 run-in all over again
