Paul Nevin, now that's a man we could do with in this role.

hte to be negative but can anyone else smell a rat? surely there must be a catch
Hahaha, there's always one.

So now we have a stable club and can now raise expectations across the board and target winning the league as both realistic and expected.
Oh and sup Hayden

I think actually this explains why rugbyheads are so miserable all the time. Since nothing will satisfy them but AB=world champs, they have not allowed themselves to be happy since 1991. Whereas we would have been wetting ourselves with pleasure with even one WC draw instead of three.
Others say: "football encourages mediocrity". That's pretty much the same thing as "encourages a good spirit and happiness with achievable goals". If the price of excellence is misery, and excellence still isn't guaranteed even if you refuse to accept anything but perfection, then is it worth it?
Ramming liberal dribble down your throat since 2009
This forum needs less angst and more Kate Bush threads
AND return the filthy FIFA lucre in protest too. Its outrageous!
Our AWs have to tough it out in a 6 star resort in SA for 5 weeks and FIFA can only offer the Nix
US$1600 per player per day for the injury and hurt they suffered.
Sack Blatter while you're at it.
Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!

I still stand by my ancient first post in this thread that he has never been on an even keel with the Nix compared to other A league managers/squads, with reserve teams and uncertainty with the franchise being in doubt/fifa rubbish.
I've never had a problem with his professionalism and his ability to inspire his team and with Terry he's made an outfit far beyond what we thought could happen.
This is with some major negative stuff from the rugby DJ's and apathy from NZ people as a whole until this world cup.
I think that was part of me and Vickmiests's decision to head up to Hamilton for the friendly. I reckon 2 seasons ago we would have got about a 1000. At that match I spoke to folk who'd been to Nix mathes and knew their football.
I think it is fantastic he is staying and fantastic that Terry is carrying on with our team as well. It's as if they want to create a legacy of NZ football.

SACK RICKI

we need some changes, we've got a bye next week so get our team sorted.
Though I disagree with starting Lia, Hearfield and Brown.
Those 3 aren't looking good at all this season, and I'm sick of Brown getting all sh*tty and fouling everyone.
No one will disagree with you here, but yet again we fell to bits in the second half. It's happened on at least three occasions this season away from home, not good enough.
Three for me, and two for them.

But seriously, hoping we'd be a bit higher in the ladder than we are now.

While the club's at it, how about signing a Director of Football who knows a good footballer when he sees one? There's times when I think WPFC would do better by recruiting based on watching YouTube videos.

My dredging up this thread was more in the angst part of the title, I don't want him sacked, I want him to get some fuc**ing good advice and help to sort our team out.

Central Hawkes Bay Nix
and tragic follower of Charlton Athletic
and I don't we should abandon the potential of all of South America just yet
Toto's signing seemed to have been influenced by our need to get to rush a signing to get the squad minimum for the HAL (one of the few side-effects of our World Cup)
I wonder though whether he might come right if given a few matches
