4 businesses, you could donate some of your amzing wealth to help Terry out, or are they all running at a loss?

If I had $600 I could set-up 4 companies right now and be running 4 business. None of them would be up to f*ck all but hey, at least i'd be as cool as auskiwi. I bet you're the CEO of all 4 too, hey Greenham, you're out of the job, we got a new guy who's going to get us Jose Mourinho to run the Nix for a few seasons.

Cheap shots from little men.
You can lie to amuse yourself if you like.
Hope you got your jollys

I would buy a stake in the Nix if any of you guys any any get up from your indolence and go and organise the fever to buy a stake in The Nix.
It's pretty obvious that Terry would be open to offers.
But no, all you simple dicks do is but dream about picking a starting 11 and making excuses for a coach that only has very defensive and long ball and from all evidence can't motivate men.

The former Tranmere Rovers striker said Wellington was perfect for him both on and off the field.

The coaching staff is amazing. The first time I spoke to Ricki I knew he was the coach I wanted to play for. What he brings to the club is second to none. I want to be a coach myself when I finish playing and the things Ive learned from Ricki have been hugely beneficial to me.

And (assistant coaches) Luciano Trani and Jonathan Gould also deserve massive recognition they do a huge amount of work behind the scenes. As a player you want the best coaching there is and were fortunate at the Phoenix to have that.

Nah ignore that, he's just a puppet who been told to say that by Ricki. You know, the coach who can't organise his way out of a paper bag.

I refuse to agree that Rikki needs to be sacked until he is either paralyzed or dead.
Greenie loves him, and I love greenie.

He makes weird decisions but look whats he's done for NZ football. Loads. and don't go agro at me, thats what I think I'm completely for any coach of the phoenix, any player, behind them 100%.

lets hope he can come up with the answers, perhaps now is the time to show that with the responsibility at his feet he can do something with it.

"[Ricki] says the buck stops with him.

Herbert says he has no problem taking the responsibility and being accountable."

Okay, so if things don't improve, maybe it'll be a case of Ricki resigning rather than anybody having to sack him.

It seems clear from this mornings radio interview he supports the AW world cup players and wants to work it through with them.  Billy Harris' Herald article criticising lack of creativity he just gave no time to.  Played both the man and the suggestion.
well that's Bertos, Brown, Elliott, Siggy, he's backing, so don't expect any of them to be stood down.

Here's a paraphrase of the rest of the interview

He said he was looking at ways to change Ifill's role and position, to allow him to be more effective again, but nothing more specific about that.  Their stats show Ifill is getting more ball than last year (implying distribution to him is fine ... ).

Ward? Was injured, a bit of an injury, so has missed a couple of games.
North?  Not played Saturday due to coming back from socceroos, also has not had a lot of football overseas, so finding his legs again.  Is North as good as McKain?  Perhaps not, but we have recruited to strengthen the squad.  We are rebuilding the unit.
Daniel?  Best impact we've had is coming on as a sub.  That may change but at the moment that is how he sees it.

What's at the top of his priorities now?  To make top 6. Look Sydney won it last year and look at where they are, Melbourne have fallen as well and we will overtake them with a game in hand (lol). It's the League.  We are not positioned too badly.
Form on the road?  We've found it tough.  We've had some good wins away, but no solution at the moment.  We are trying things, but nothing has done it for us yet.

And that was about it.
Nothing asked about playing a midget alone up front by himself or anything on formations and player roles (other than Ifill).  Too much to ask of Telfer to go there possibly.
Seems to me he's completely committed to the current starting players and formations and just expects some tinkering, confidence and better player performance will do it.  Hmmmm.

Well he's said he takes full responsibility.
The 9:15-9:30 slot covers most of it with a bit of spillover to 9:30 slot and then some talkback going into the 9:45 slot

This. I've never been in the Sack Ricki camp, and usually called for more time and patience. I think this was vindicated last season. However, this season the team have been left behind by the too many other teams in the league, and don't seem to have any ideas on how to catch up. Ricki points to Sydney as an example of a team who are treading a similar path. I think Sydney lost some important experience (Corica, Aliosi, Bolton, Kissel) from there squad, and could be described as rebuilding to an extent. I think our only comparable loss was McKain. The majority of our best players, and on-field leaders remain.

I'll give Ricki a little more time, but unless performances (and hopefully results) improve soon, I too will cross a line I thought I never would. There is also the question of who would Terry replace him with, should things come to that. That bloke Richie who did so well getting Dadi and Reddy to play so well would get my vote. Although I want someone else coaching penalties.

I liked his blog, but:

"Add in the lady luck that confidence seems to bring and who's to say another finals berth is, as some fly-by-nighters would have us believe, impossibly out of the equation. May I respectfully remind the naysayers that this league has never been won in November - my mail says the title's handed out sometime in March!"

I'll leave the fly by-nighters to one side but add this:

1. We are not impossibly out of the equation but I have written off our chances bar Tards (or even less likely Heart) stuffing up big time.  Sure there's a lot of football to go but our challenge is to make 6th spot.  Unless we pull finger and the teams above us slump, we are gone for this season.

2. League isn't won by November but let's see who wins in March (I've already picked Roar, Cakes, and Heart as top 3 teams in no order).

Anyway, all that notwithstnding it is time to make. believe.

I feel this is an interesting read and may be a reason why we are behind this year, as the better teams have this kind of approach.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/blog/2010/apr/13/the-question-why-is-offside-law-genius

I wouldn't complain about Ricki's tactics as they kinda work with the allwhites, if only we had a giant instead/infront of greenie. Which was supposed to be Mac right? Who hasn't really delivered for whatever reason so we suffer greatly.

Interested to see what happens now, or in the transfer window if we can find someone else. Or if Griffiths is the next answer...

I said it was why some other teams (roar+adelaide) where more succesful than us, as thay play a whick makes players defend, which is what these rule tweaks where supposed to do. Instead of hoofing it upfield  but I just re-read that and maybe I was up the wrong tree..... As ricki says its what he thinks that matters anyway I guess.

I have one thing to say, if we didn't beleive that Ricki was passionate about the team, and feeling the pressure a bit, I think he proved last night that he wants the team to win and succeed as much as we all do. The fist punch to the air instead of the usual wave, when called for, showed me that he was as relieved if not more that his team had finally broken through the angst and crap that had been raining down on them. call for his head now boys come on I dare ya!

This, that one move for a moment showed me something I've never seen at such a level from Ricki, kind of gave me confidence in Ricki.
