I wonder who the next player to have a dispute with his club will be?

Looks like Eugene is an even bigger Facebook whore than cade though..

Not convinced,

Personally he has never really impressed me in the games he's played in. Hopefully he will prove me wrong.

Still, if it is only for the remainder of the season... (and i seriously hope it is), it wont matter, if he proves to be sh*te then he will be left to rot like other squad members not up to standard.

I think he will prove to be a very good foil for Greenacre - remember Greenie prefers playing off another striker.

Phoenix also have, I think, the highest number of crosses into the box in the league - so having a striker of Dadi's size can only improve our chances of latching onto those balls.

hmm...... seems we sign everyone who is in dispute with their club...surely  Dadi isn the only option for a striker that we have..........................

MOst of our crosses bearly make it past the first defender, but having dadi a bigger target than Greenie will heap quiet abit.

Happy with that. Well done Tony and Ricki, and the big guy for putting up the cash for the rest of the season

We needed someone up front to cover any injuries and to push our claim for a top 6 finish, to make the playoffs, and the club acted quickly to get a known goal scorer at this level

Dadi has 10 goals in 22 matches, and that is something a few other strikers in the league would be happy with. I know that he hasnt got any for the Glory firsts this year, he has only started in 3 matches though, played in 6,, but has hit the target in the reserves.

We need to win 4 games to make sure of the finals, and from there anything can happen, I dont think we would fear any team if we get to that stage.

Good luck Dadi, help us get to the finals and you will be a Nix favourite

well. strikers have always been in short supply in our squad, namely because Rikki often will play with only one up front so doesnt see the need for too many, also perth werent exactly rushing to give him game time and they have'nt scored loads of goals themselves

I've found that very strange, they've got a pretty good team on paper but just haven't really put back to back good performances this season.

My thought is that hes better than no one. And he ticks the boxes of kind of striker we're looking for,so am looking forward to it. Tegal2010-01-04 21:05:44

as someone said above certainly adds an option for using Iffy and/or greenacre off a player who can be expected to act as an effective target

unlikely to make it into our worst 3 striker list

- and it is at least possible he could bump Covs down to number 4 in our pantheon of goal scoring greats

Honestly think that this is a very good signing. I see some people complaining about lack of pace because of his age  - so what? That isn't what he is there for. All he needs to do is hold up the ball well and play in the likes of Leo, Caceres, Ifill and Greenie. That is what we have been missing. He doesn't even need to play well and score heaps of goals - we have other players to do that. Coupled with the fact it's just until the end of this season at this point and I think it's a terrific bit of business.

Expect to see 2 up top with Ifill and Leo/Caceres on the wings.

Unlikely. Killen's problem is that he thinks he's better than he actually is, and until he realises this, I doubt he will come here.

Well done Nix management, great signing!

The extra fire power up front should secure our spot in the play-offs ...
