Hows our crowd looking like for Auckland? Any Pax?

Hey just sorting tickets for a few people. Anyone seen the ticketing map? It looks like the Yellow Fever Zone is near half way and the family zone is in the corner. That't not right, is it?

I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

TAHW or Sutton probably the other bench options. Largely agree though, not sure if we'll be able to play 2 up top with Davila playing 10, will be interesting to watch.

Same as at 66' v Adelaide.  Steinmann off for Hooper, 4-1-3-2 with Ball and Hooper up top, at that point still Piscopo and Sotirio in the three.

Goal at 67', goal at 71', then Piscopo off for Devlin at 72'.

At 66' we put Davila wide, which to me just isn't viable given how that went defensively in the first games of the season. Hooper also went really deep but that could've been just game situation.

If it was FIFA I might look at something like this but in real life I don't think one CDM in front of those two battleships is workable.

Yeah, no way that works; with only 1 DM and Sotirio + Piscopo bombing forward, the flanks would be completely exposed.

I'm gonna predict 15K, that's 7K down on the MUV game back in Feb, when everything aligned.

I'm sure a few City of Cars detractors will hope for less, otherwise their constant refrain that an Auckland A League team would never work, could be on shaky ground. Plus likely biggest 'home' crowd Nix will get this season, unless get to host a final.

Dome seems excited. Early weather forecast looks okay.

Surely you swap family and yellow fever?

Yeah that' slightly concerning... Will need to double check Red Badge/Club/Fever Zone are all on same page before heading into the game.

Technical question.

I'm travelling back from overseas on Saturday and might not be able to watch the game live.

Does the MyFootball channel show replays of the games the next morning [without spoilers]?

Yes... the game is listed in their videos section (for instance, I'm re-watching the Nix game now) but there are highlights packages which state the score up also. It's likely they won't have those up by the next day but you never know...

Auckland races on that day.... I don't think that will help.

I just watched that little period again, and it was pretty fluid, but mainly Piscopo and Sotirio sitting with Davilla in behind Ball and Hooper, or crossing from wider. Ball dropped back alongside Davilla as the play went, but we had big numbers forward for that little spell, including one of Cacace and Payne. And two goals. Adelaide barely had the ball. Most play in and around their box with Rufer picking up the clearances.

But Ufuk brought on Devlin, and Piscopo off, immediately we got the second goal, so quickly got back to two DMs.

I watched the last two full games (Brisbane and Adelaide) on MyFootball a few hours after they were live without spoilers.

That's awesome, thanks guys.

I actually should be back on time to watch but I will need to collect my kids from UH before returning to Wellington, my wife will have done all the work and I'll need to chip in, plus I will be travelling overnight so I might conk out the moment the kids are in bed.

Hoping to watch it first thing Sunday morning...

What’s the reason behind it?

Surely some of those in the sections either side aren’t gonna be happy and will have a blocked view.

Well who would have guess that they have managed to stuff up the zone again for the Auckland game.

Aisles either side shouldn't be affected.

I'm not sure why this keeps happening. I assume someone from ticketing (either Ticketek or Phoenix) didn't consider it that much and by the time we picked it up, it was essentially too late.

We're working with the Phoenix to ensure security are well briefed and that there are some contingency plan in case there are issues with Joe Punter. Security were good last time so fingers crossed.

good to hear. Hope it can still work out ok with the seccies.

I don't think its necessarily a bad thing having the Fever near the middle. it might foster a bit more croud engagement from the isles either side.

Haha. I tweeted about the previous version yesterday and how it wasn't exactly informative of what goes on in the YF Zone

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

This is a STANDING ONLY section for full 90 minutes. This a very vocal area and language may be offensive to younger / sensitive patrons

We had those notices last year but still some of the locals came in and sat down. twenty minutes into the game and three of them finally got up and stormed off.  Makes you wonder if they wanted "to be seen in the zone" or didn't read the notices.

My own thought is that the Western end behind the goal would ber good for a zone - Sun at our backs and not us looking at it like a few years back.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Seems like Piscopo has got a knock at training - ice on his ankle. Would be a blow as I thought he was very good last week.

Well at least that'll make room to fit Hooper into the team. Push Ball back to Piscopo position and Hooper up top.
