Just after it was confirmed that it won't be a kiwi. Nice job Sherlock. Small odds of you being wrong on your little guess.

I can confirm that tomorrow will be Tuesday, after confirming that today is Monday.

I can confirm that rhythm was in fact a dancer.

Thought there would be an announcement by now, it is the end of April.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

yeah I'm hoping end of the week.

They initially had planned to have the new coach at the awards night last week.

When did he say that? Didn't he say, several weeks ago, that they were hoping for the end of the month but wouldn't be rushed?

That was way back on the day after Ricki resigned, so the plans may have changed since then. I don't really mind if they cut into May to make their decision, it just has to happen before the players come back at the start of June.

End of June?

Actually I'd prefer it if the new coach was on deck asap to start doing some recruitment and re-signings. Doesn't need to meet the squad to know where some of the key gaps are.

Hopefully some of those players aren't going to be coming back at the end of June.

With Adelaide signing the Spaniard from Hong Kong, that frees up Stubbins to sign with us. Would be reasonably happy about that and is probably the best we can do.

Whoops, my bad. Meant to say start of June.

I think we've both confused our dates actually. But anyway, my point is I'd like to see the new coach on deck well before the players come back i.e. as soon as possible.

And too much talk leads to the same normally, people just want to grumble until games start and they have something tangible to grumble about.

Who re-signed Bertos?

Why did we re-sign him if we don't have a manger, it wasn't like he was going to sign with anyone else

Perhaps you should look up the meaning of the word 'fascist'

Er... Leggy, Paolo di Canio is an admitted Fascist. He admires Mussolini as a great leader and gives the stiff-arm salute to his fans. I had mates who lived in Swindon who agitated to get him fired as manager of their club for that reason.

And what does that actually have anything to do with how good he is as a football coach? He could dress up in women's underware for all I give a shit provided he coaches the team well.

I thought this too - either this, or we have no idea who is going to be coaching and need to get on with things

What about the middle ground, we have 3 or 4 options, and the football people on the board feel as though Bertos will fit with any of them, and don't want him to be signed by another club?

Maybe we asked all the candidates to fill in a questionnaire about who they would re-sign and Leo got the most votes.

They will have already selected the coach but are waiting for the EPL to finish in a few weeks so he can announce his resignation from there.....

That would be a bad sign for me - football people on the board should not be making player decisions, I would be worried if they were

yeah I'd say Leo had a couple of A-league offers that may have been interesting to him, good on the WPX guys for keeping him here. On the coach options - I would have expected that in the interview process they applicants would have been asked aboput their thoughts on the squad, who they'd keep move on etc

Manger the option if Rufer had got the job.

Anyone know how close the club is to announcing a new Manager/coach? I hope Chris gets to stay at the club. Great attitude off the field, real pro on the field. As a coach, no nonsense. A very bright future.
