This is another reason we can't hold onto players. At the Bulls or the Jets or wherever, good players won't have the referees turning a blind eye to players kicking the shark out of them.

Not sure how excited I am....

It's going to be cool to watch him again, I like him. But he never really fired for us, and not sure how good he's going to go for Dundee. Dundee probably would like a target man striker, but I haven't really seen him play that role, often played wide for us.

Glad we're not signing some tall, target man who is an absolute goof though. Look forward to seeing how he goes.

If scores or sets up a winner vs Rangers/Celtic there will be caps lock used in this thread though.

Pretty sure we got a Dundee fan on here? If so, they will be happy.

Well I’m fairly happy he’s not going to be playing against us!

Shame he's going to be playing for Hearts though, I'll be forced to cheer against him when he's at Easter Road.

Hearts have been given the green light to sign Australian midfielder Cameron Devlin before the transfer window closes.

The Jambos had agreed a deal with Newcastle Jets for the 23-year-old who is set to become Robbie Neilson's fourth new signing of the summer.

The deal had been held up by the UK immigration office as he applied for a work permit.

But Neilson has confirmed that has been approved and will move to Hearts on a long-term contract before the window shuts.

Neilson told the Edinburgh Evening News: “The visa has been approved so now we’re just trying to get him over here.
“We are hopeful of getting him in as soon as we can. It depends on whether he needs to isolate but it has all been authorised.”

It's a new favourite podcast of mine.  I put it on for my state-mandated exercise without reading the description and was very surprised when the Nix were mentioned and then he showed up.

All Birds looking to IPO at a $US 2 billion valuation, wonder how much Tim Brown owns.

Never made a profit apparently and like a lot of growth minded companies aren't focusing on becoming profitable yet.

One of the best pairs of shoes I've ever owned. I was a bit skeptical at the start, but 2+ years on (maybe even 3?) and they're still going strong! I wear them most days

Wonder how far he would have gone football wise, if he opted to stay at the Nix instead of going to Sydney. He has a kid with Lucy Zelic, so probably is happy with how things panned out but is still a big what if.

Devlin gets over half an hour in a game vs Ross County. Rated a 7 by the Edinburgh News, too

'The Australian making his debut had a positive impact off the bench. Looked to get on the ball and play quickly and positively'

'The Australian making his debut had a positive impact off the bench. Looked to get on the ball and play quickly and positively'

"The introduction of Cammy Devlin gave Hearts far more control, and perhaps if the midfielder started the Tynecastle side might be going back to Edinburgh with three points."
Rated 6.41 on BBC Football, the second highest in the Hearts line up.

Show on Aus TV with Irish/Oz comedian Jimeoin. He's in some country caravan park where he comes across Andrew Durante ("you played football didn't ya?") and family, driving around Oz in a camper, home schooling the kids. A short game of keepy uppy ensures.

Seems that back office role won't be this season with Western United.

Sheridan just came on for Dundee towards the end of the Dundee derby, at 1-0 down he got a bouncing ball in the box in front of goal, looked like was going to score (I was off my feet, ex-Phoenix player scoring for Dundee in Dundee derby would be amazing for me), but defender dived in and took it away just in time. Despite appeals for a penalty, it was actually clean (no VAR, actually play real football in Scotland unlike the tripe south of their border).

Hopefully for me he doesn't go on a 'close but no cigar' streak like he did for Phoenix!

He probably won't be playing a lot of minutes as Dundee have got Leigh Griffiths on loan from Celtic, but actually could be a good option with Griffiths playing off him if he can show his value and finish a chance like the aforementioned.

ATK Mohun Bagan, Roy Krishna and David Williams are definitely  not enjoying their AFC Cup zonal semi-final clash this morning in Uzbekistan.

6-0 hiding against Nasaf with a couple of minutes left to play (it was 5-0 at H/T!)

Williams hooked after 88 minutes, and it looks like Krishna will get a full game.

Happier times however for former Nix frontman & footballing nomad Andrija Kaluderovic, who, you guessed it, now plies his trade for the mid table Uzbeki club. He was subbed on at H/T.

We’re guna miss this guy big big time! Tayls, Paine, Sail and others guna need to step up the in field leadership.
He doesn’t start and then he does and then you wonder how your team managed without him. Awesome photos!

Also the way some of there fans were resigned to the fact he wouldn’t be at their club for long. Hope we see his career take off!

I could see Devlin being at a Championship club in the next couple seasons. Hearts are gonna turn a very tidy profit on him.

Devlin being Devlin. Wins a penalty & then goes for a rub on the defenders bald spot. Tho it was a tad risky when already on a yellow card.
