I think you can't select your tickets because the password allows you to buy YOUR SEAT and nothing else, therefore you don't need to choose your seat.

I recieved a 'ticket' from ticketek saying that the actual tickets will be emailed out tomorrow. It is labeled GA.

How does a company that does one thing and one thing only manage to do it so poorly? Is selling tickets really that difficult?
I had no problem, but I didn't book my own seats as I needed 2 extra ones.

Trouble is that the site doesnt allow you to progress until you choose your seats

^^ This.

It would be fine if the site actually displayed a seat selection.

All it does is complain there is no seat selected, but there is no seat displayed to select!

Just got off the phone from Ticketek after holding for what seemed like forever. I asked about booking my seats and was told I couldnt because no seats were showing up, and even giving him my seat numbers was no help. The tickets that cam up didnt specify an area of the ground or row...so totally pissed off with this now.  website is still not working properly apparently they are looking into it niow...but are blaming the phoenix administration for this mess

Has anyone actually been able to on-line book their usual seats yet? If so, which operating system/browserwere you using?

I've failed using Windows 7 trying Firefox 11, Chrome 17, Opera 11 and Safari 5 by following the link given in the e-mail. Each had the above issue except Opera which wouldn't display the field to enter the password.

We're all in the same boat (see Patrick's post above as well).

I was assured that allocated seats; ie, our seats; would be sent through tomorrow, and that they would be our seats as we used our spoecial password.

I live in hope.

Bizarre

So got through on the phone, asked the guy to confirm my seat number, he said he couldn't, as it's all done through the membership number, but should be on the ticket that's emailed through.

Get the email from ticketek with a ticket attached a moment later, it says "GA 79 - This is not a valid entry ticket, your entry ticket will be sent 27MAR or pickup"

Think that's how it's supposed to work ...

"If booking your same seat you will initially receive a receipt for your ticket purchase. You will then receive an ezyTicket (print at home ticket) via email from Ticketek within 24 hours of your purchase. Please ensure you provide Ticketek with your email address if booking via phone or at an outlet."

Kelly at Railway Metro was great just then. Two tickets sorted, our season pass seats also. Didn't need password, just gave her the season passes and she did the rest. I recommend you go down there if still having trouble online.

Tickets get emailed out tomorrow. If you book over the phone you get a confirmation email straight away but no ticket.

No worries.

It really shouldn't be up to us, the supporters, to work this stuff out for ourselves. FFA and Ticketek should have been doing it.

Same experience as others. logged on to site with password (from email - my password is phx followed by my membership number then my surname) and then when it didn't show seat numbers for the purchase, thought I'd better ring sh*tetek instead. Got through after 45 minutes of waiting - guy asked me for password which I gave. He then told me he would be charging $8.75 for phone booking. I asked him to confirm our seat numbers - he said he couldn't see what the seats were and the system will automatically issue the correct tickets passed on password. As this was the same as the website I asked whether the site booking was free to which he said yes, so I said I'd go back to that. Went back to website and of course you still get charged $8.75 for an internet booking!

Now after years of this sh*t from sh*tetek every season I of course expected the worst and I can hardly even be bothered complaining about their uselessless any more. However I do want to get my seats for this Final, and as only a insane person would happily use the words "ticketek" "automatically" and "correct tickets" all in the same sentence, I have very little hope that I will end up getting my seats. On top of it all they say they will only be sending out the ezytickets on the 27th (after tickets go on general sale) so by then it will likely be too late to correct when we get the wrong seats!
I still don't understand why the Nix continue to use these no-hopers that continue to cause us all so much pain and inconvenience.

Just bought 6 online with no issues (not my keeping my seat though as buying 5 extras). Website did try to tell me a few times though that I could only buy 2 tix for the FZ at a time... Refreshed it a few times and it worked again, now have 6 tickets for aisle 20/21 . PAX is 2773-2778

He he - same.  Went in in-person. Took a while but we got there in the end.  The ticketek staff were very patient, obliging and polite.

I did warn them that if we win on Friday, we'll go through the same process for the next home play-off!

Are you the "account holder"? Only they seemed to get the email. But it's useless anyway as the next step falls over.

Just got 5 ticktes. 3 with season passes and 2 extras at the Michael Fowler Ticketek Outlet. I got proper tickets for the extras (PAX 2756, 2757) but the 3 season pass seats will be emailed to me tomorrow. The "booking fee"was $3 per ticket it seems as they had to be bought in 2 seperate transactions.

Mrs "everso apologetic and helpful" in the outlet was excellent and assured me that I will get my season pass seats when they get emailed.

I'm slightly disappointed!

Are you a bit nervous that the season pass tickets you get tomorrow, won't be next to the extra tickets you got today...?

Allegedly

I thought we had about 1800 members, which would mean they are buying extra tickets. Good stuff either way.

the email you get advertising the playoffs and booking details should have your password just below the pic

link to ticketek works fine
password entered and tickets booking worked fine
email confirmation arrived quickly, saying actual tickets will be sent after 27march

all worked fine here - the only hiccup for me was that I didn't initially see where the password was in the email
