Another good question raised by a Fever Exec member - will Capital Football postpone games on the double-header day?

So Ticketek fail and CF rescheduling required.

I can see this working out well.

Ticketek summary of fail:

1. Wrong phone number on website.
2. Website won't accept login credentials.
3. Can't/won't allocate seats for EPL games.
4. No Yellow Fever zone option for EPL games.

That's so far.

I messaged a couple of Phoenix people. One of them said: "Ring Shane at the Stadium, Ticketek are their provider." Good proactive attitude that one. I think there is a perception that we are a nuisance on these issues, which is very frustrating.

Spoke to Kyla at Phoenix HQ. She said Ticketek are wrong and she'll email them to clarify. Not sure where that leaves me, I've already bought my (unallocated) tickets.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

They couldn't postpone a whole day

Hey, they can do what they want.

Was going to say, you may be lucky enough to play in a league with a bye that weekend

Ticketek correct phone number is 04 384 2457.

All members will have received an email at midday today with new login credentials in it. Please use these to log in.

If your membership is in YF area, your Football United tickets will be in YF area. These are at both Auckland and Wellington in Silver section. You'll be allocated your membership seat if you purchase the same number of tickets as your membership, but if you choose tickets outside your membership category or purchase more than your actual number of seats in membership, these tickets will be issued as best available in your chosen category.

er I'm confused by this. The link has options to purchase a membership - but I can't see how I purchase my season ticket?

Perhaps you should add that information to the membership website

I this'd it just for the fact that she chose thunderstix as her username.

Having the feverzone more clearly defined than 'silver' would also help. Getting tickets in the same area isn't the same thing as having a feverzone.

Also should be able to have option of a feverzone ticket if we want to purchase more than allocation.

If renewing your season ticket or club membership, you will have received an email from Ticketek today at midday. If you haven't received that email, please phone them on 04 384 2457.

If you don't have a current membership, you can purchase them from 12 May.

I just purchased a membership [$75] and then 4 family [silver] tickets for the Wellington match for $47 each [$188 total] for a total outlay of $263. I am absolutely hopeless at online ordering and stuff - does this soynd right to those more savvy than myself?

I just had a look at the online options.

I think I will be like 2B and wait until tomorrow.  I don't think the website has the right options to renew season ticket (Family) and purchase FU tickets at the cheap rate.  Or if so it's not very intuitive.

Interesting, I get 6 options:
Change Foundation to Premium Membership
and add in Season Ticket Membership

Assuming that the foundation one is auto Premium, so Season Ticket + Club Membership in one.

From the site:

"Your exclusive purchase period for Football United tour tickets is linked into your renewal of your 2014/15 Wellington Phoenix Membership. Your exclusive renewal period runs until Monday 28 April, 2014"

How does this work? It's already the 30th April!

Oh just read the email and it says 12th May 2014. They must have stuffed up the website <shock!>

Seen the prices for Gold and Silver tickets for Football United?! $99 and also $49 for kids! Tad expensive.

Also says bronze tickets are $35, but Silver are $75? What category do we get as YF zone renewals?

Complicated business.

I only got four options - club membership, flexi 6 pass, and football united x2.

Well Ive taken a chance renewing my membership for $169 without knowing how many games will be in Wellington. Seems pretty cheap anyway.

But the website was charging me $75 Silver Adult for the West Ham/Newcastle games, but wasnt offering me any further discount, so is the $75 including the discount? I didnt buy any because of this

All Foundation members receive an upgrade to the new Premium Club Membership which is a Season Ticket + Club Membership in one.

Season ticket price is fixed from 2013/14 for renewals. Last year you got 10 games in Wellington (+ Akld, Chch & Napier). 2014/15 sees 11 games in Wellington (+ Akld, Chch and one other TBC).

YF Zone for Football United Tour is Silver = $75. Bronze seats at $35 are behind the goal. Regular price in Silver is $95.

I asked the Phoenix on Facbook about kick off times allowing for people playing their own games on the Saturday and they have just responded that Capital Football have agreed to postpone all games that day.

If the players are going to be up for this, will certainly be the best pre season ever.  Suspect Ernie will want a couple of decent games during July before the big visitors arrive

Suspect it will be either Sunday for everyone, or all of the games for that day  moved to a mid week  night game on the artificials evenly spread through the season

When I try to renew my foundation membership in the YF zone, the website says it costs $199. But the cost should be $169, right?

What does the opt in bit mean ie when is it an option? after payment or before?

Foundation members will receive one ticket complimentary per Foundation membership (you need to opt in to receive this after renewing your membership).

The ladies play on Sundays so there wouldn't be enough pitches available. I imagine they'll just stagger some more midweek night games throughout the season.

Phoenix host Premier League clubs: update

As you will be aware, the Wellington Phoenix have secured English Premier League clubs West Ham and Newcastle United, as well as Sydney FC, to play a number of matches in New Zealand at the end of July.

Capital Football is working closely with the Phoenix to maximise the opportunities for everyone to enjoy what will be a fantastic day for football when the double-header hits Wellington on Saturday, July 26th.

Kick off times for the games between Sydney FC versus West Ham and Newcastle United versus Wellington Phoenix are yet to be confirmed and one of the possible options we are looking at is postponing the football matches on the day to allow as many people as possible to get along.

We will keep you updated as these plans become clearer.
