Sure you haven't selected the Premium membership Fink? That adds the $30 club membership to your pass.

When I log in to the Ticketek website the only option to renew is to renew my foundation membership. When I choose that, the website says (my emphasis):
"The Foundation Season Ticket recognises those members who have been a member every season since 2007/08. This category is for renewal only as only those eligible are able to apply.

New for 2014/15, the Premium Club Membership is a Season Ticket + Club Membership in one. The Club’s most inclusive membership package keeps you in your seat and up to date with all the behind the scenes action from the Club throughout the season. (All Foundation members will automatically receive this upgrade)."

I assume the automatic upgrade is meant to be free. Otherwise it'd be an automatic obligation to pay an extra $30 to renew a foundation membership.

it's meant to be $169. Someone forgot to check the figures for foundations members. it will get updated soon enough.

The Benchwarmer membership is now a Club Membership - so yes you are eligible. these memberships run until 30 April so are up for renewal now. If you didn't get a renewal email, phone Ticketek on 04 384 2457.

Yes, that's my fault (Phoenix) - Foundation members get upgraded to the new Premium Club Membership for free. We're fixing this now. Sorry!

Thanks. I think it's very cool that it's being included for free (along with a free ticket to the EPL games).

Interesting, I get 6 options:

Change Foundation to Premium Membership

and add in Season Ticket Membership

Assuming that the foundation one is auto Premium, so Season Ticket + Club Membership in one.

I only got four options - club membership, flexi 6 pass, and football united x2.

The options you get are based on your Membership as it's a Renewal period.

In a moment of muppetry I was only seeing those four options because I wasn't even logged in! I hope somewhere there's an alternative universe where ticketek staff rant about how useless Phoenix fan are.

Can website guru Gareth Morgan please buy Ticketek and apply a system that works?

No wonder we lose money, the admin of all this must be very costly

its all so complicated these days, time was when you queued up at the turnstile, handed the guy your fiver, and he ripped a numbered ticket out of the book and gave it to you.

I have a season ticket in the fever zone. Is that classed as Silver or Bronze? If its Silver, can I buy Bronze tickets as I believe you are allocated your seat?

FZ is silver for Season passes and EPL game.

Stoked with the announcement seems like a real good buzz around the place, was already bored of the off season.

Has probably been asked 100x but until a FAQ is set up, How many extra tickets can we buy to the West Ham/ Newcastle games with our season passes?

Updated my Foundation membership. Paid the $199, Just thought that was the price. Would be nice if it was $169, but not too fussed. Bring on the Next Season!

Don't waste your time trying to use their website - even Ticketek don't know how it works. Ring 04 384 3842 and speak to a real person. They don't know exactly what's going on but they're pretty helpful.

As an aside, I rang up with my season pass number and without telling them anything except that number they told me my email address, phone number, password (!!!) and postal address. Security to the max.

I hit this Foundation Member problem when I renewed earlier today. My membership is part of a family pass and the website bizarrely insisted on charging me more for my ticket than the other 3 tickets (there was no option to decline the Foundation Member upgrade).

I put the transaction through anyway but emailed the Nix straight away to complain.

Got a very quick response from Kyla who fessed up to the mistake (as she did here) and promised that any Foundation member who gets over-charged will get the difference refunded. The upgrade to a Premium Membership (which includes the old Club Membership) for Foundation Members was always intended to be complimentary. So it was a bit of a fuck-up but the customer service since then has been excellent.

The complimentary upgrade to a Premium Membership plus a free ticket for Football United is actually a very nice bonus for Foundation Members.

No, says Alan, I don't think so,
But I've heard of GEORDIE AGGRO!

PAX?!?

Permalink Permalink

Setting aside a few niggles with the ticketing can I just say this is really fucking awesome.

Two EPL teams on tour in NZ - fantastic.

This obviously took a huge amount of work so well done to the whole Phoenix team. Hope they get the chance sometime soon to go out, have a nice celebration dinner, get pissed, bit of a dance, sneaky pash outside and then feel super awkward about it the next day.

There won't be any pax for a while until they start processing payments and sending out tickets, unfortunately.

Anyone found out how we opt in for the complimentary ticket to football united if we are a foundation member??  Was busy at work so did't get a chance to ring.  if no one has found out i will call tomorrow.  thx

jesus, I have just skipped through about 5 pages of seething at Ticketek due to not being immediately able to provide tickets to a game in 3 months time, or renew season tickets when the first league game will be in about 6 months time. I think some people need to relax a bit.

This is brilliantly done by the club - 2 big thumbs up to all involved.

If it's not a sell-out in Wellington, I'll support Sunderland!
Prices are realistic, way below what I expected.
Altho it's unclear (to me)  if the price includes both matches in Wellington, or you have to buy a ticket for each game
Auckland should get a good crowd.
Dunedin is the game that may not sell a lot of tickets. Hopefully it will.

I agree with Kiwihatter and think that the price for the people who make the atmosphere should be considerable lower considering if Yellowfever didn't attend it would be dull, atmosphere wise (aka rugby crowd) - In saying this its still cheap for the chance to watch a BPL team.
