At least the location of the Fever zone on Saturday made Patrick's sausage roll mission easier

If the club have someone marshalling this week it would help. Just need someone to point out it's a standing area.

I did mention to someone that I thought squeezing too many people into the narrow rows at the back risked someone getting hurt.

Who cares about a sign or whatever. If people are going to whinge about others standing tough shark, they can fudge off the cods.

Brandon, as a protest against people refusing to stand in the Fever Zone, we should stage a sit down! ?

I think the point being missed here is the over-crouding of the terrace level 2/3rds of the way up and the top row.  These areas were 2 or 3 deep on scaffolding that I suspect is not meant to take that much weight in one spot.

It makes for a good feel and good banter but the number of tickets in the space should have seen more room for those with Fever specific tickets.  The issue is the GA half of the stand expanding into the Fever area causing over-crouding in certain areas and by extension people sitting in the Fever half of the stand.

I'm not concerned with people sitting in the Fever Zone.

I'm concerned with people complaining about people standing in front of them in the Fever Zone.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

1. The fact that YF moved and crunched themselves up in the corner, rather than obstruct those who sat in the zone - is testament to YF being good citizens.

2. YF are an established part of the club and everyone has gone to the trouble of designating YF zones at all of the away matches and at the Rec, it should be no problem for the organisers to [or sanction YF to] put up the sign or the rope or whatever to reserve the area and if people sit there and complain, they can be shown to another part of the ground in as polite a way as possible.

Key bit highlighted in bold. It is the responsibility of the organisers to do this, not some self designated policeman.

Just to make this worse. It is annoying when you in the grounds less than five minutes and some lady who is sitting in the zone is demanding the flags be lowered, this is pre game, because she does not want to miss the game. I just told her, we know what we are doing, this is not our first game.

Yeah and it was much worse in the second half I thought. Remember coming back late, getting to row I was in and having to make my way past 4 people to get to the front (I'm short, Patrick and others are tall)

I really worry what would've happened if a goal had been scored and someone fell forwards into a group of people creating a domino effect of people falling over/being crushed. Not to mention whether the stand could actually handle that many people jumping on it.

Anyone getting precious about safety can fudge off. Honestly. If you can't navigate that stand safely you should sit quietly down the front.

The terrace level was officially supposed to have nobody at all on it apparently. We probably had up to 100 people on it at one point. Whoops.

Brandon, I was trying to lighten the mood with a double meaning but you missed it. I sympathise with what you are saying but there are ways of dealing with it.

Sadly, the non existant stewarding advising mum and dads with or without kids, that the YF Zone consists of standing, sing and a lot of smart remarks (Some obviously R18) was poor. I can't believe some people did not figure it out.

Kinda reminded me of a Rugby croud when we first turned up - everyone seated where they felt like it. Patricks BIG Yellow Fever banner, might have been dropping a hint but the people did not buy it, nor when the player banners arrived, nor when everyone else around them was standing.

Also there were kids in the zone with their parents whom were up for the banter and fun (Both the parents and the children doing the chants), although some of the language used (Namely the "C" word) when standing up next to them might have been a bit inappropriate imo. But the person/s using it were bladdered.

Considering all the people standing on the one big flat area on the stand, I take this to mean they couldn't negotiate the stand safely either....

Did anyone miss the idot that goes around Westpac with a camera crew before the games? I don't  or didn't  let's  stay at Hutt Rec. The Bellevue needs to change their name to The Bellvalue for money.

Probably.

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.
