Emailed Brenda who said they dont deal with the hutt rec games but she assumes we just show our cards???

From the latest In The Nix email:

The Phoenix are coming to Lower Hutt in February and March 2015!

Tickets for the three matches to be played at Brendan Foot Kia Hutt Rec go on public sale on Tuesday 9 December from www.ticketdirect.co.nz.

Wellington Phoenix Season Ticket holders and members receive access to these games as part of their membership. You will receive further information on how to get your seats early next week.
That was last week, so in the next couple days we should hear.

Ground will be set up for 9000 spectators, beer garden, curtain raisers, family activities and bands organised for pre-match.

Should be an interesting excercise.

I probably shouldn't post this on here but apparently there was quite a local resident backlash against these games when they were announced because residents are paranoid that the Hutt Rec will be the next Petone Arena.

WELLINGTON PHOENIX ACTION HITS LOWER HUTT!

Don’t miss Hyundai A-League football action in Lower Hutt this Summer.

February and March 2015 will see the Wellington Phoenix play three A-League Football matches and two games of ASB Premiership football at the re-named Brendan Foot Kia Hutt Recreation Ground in Lower Hutt.

As a member, these games in Lower Hutt are included in your season ticket or membership but we need to issue you with a new ticket for them.

Due to the very limited capacity at these matches, please read carefully below to ensure that you are getting the seats that you need before they reach capacity. We can only hold seats for you until 5pm on Monday 12 January 2015, after this date we can only give you seats if we have room.

Game 1 - Sat 14 Feb – Phoenix v Melbourne City, 5pm and ASB Premiership curtain raiser: Phoenix Premiers v Southern, 2pm.

Game 2 - Sun 22 Feb – Phoenix v Newcastle Jets, 5pm

Game 3 - Sat 7 Mar – Phoenix v Adelaide United, 7pm and ASB Premiership curtain raiser: Phoenix Premiers v Canterbury, 2pm.

GETTING YOUR TICKETS - IMPORTANT INFORMATION: You must book tickets via email

At Hutt Rec you will be allocated to a bay that is the same category as your seat at Westpac Stadium. There are no allocated seats within each bay so on game days, it is first in, best dressed in each bay. However if you have your new ticket as below, there will be a spot for you.

1. Send an email to ibelieve@wellingtonphoenix.com , including:

i. Your name, email address and contact phone number.

ii. Your Account number and PAX number from your membership card

iii. Which games you want to attend: Game 1, 2, 3 or “all games”

2. Extra Tickets: If you are wanting extra tickets (maximum of 10 per account) at your member discount of 20% off, please also add which game and how many tickets required to your email. We will make contact with you to process the payment for your extra tickets. Extra tickets will have the Ticket Direct inside charge added to them at the time of processing

3. Ticket Direct will email your tickets to you to print at home and bring to the games.

We can only guarantee you a seat if you complete the above before 5pm Monday 12 January. Tickets booked over the Christmas period may be delayed in their processing.

Ticket prices start at just $5 for a child (aged 16 and under) and $19 for an adult plus applicable ticketing fees. Members will receive 20% off these prices.

Just read on Facebook the Hutt residents get 2nd preference after ticket holders, getting 24 hours to buy before go on sale to general public.

First comes, first serves for seats is going to be shambles!

What about for us non-season ticket holding out of towners who want some Fever Zone action. How the fudge do I get a ticket?

Guessing you'll have to ask someone you know in the zone to buy you a ticket. Get the feeling it'll be hard to get tickets where you want for this if it becomes the sell out we are hoping for

All of us who are buying  Hutt Rec tickets for their mates, should ask for/add-on a donation to the Ronald McDonald House ticketing fundraiser

The properties in Woburn where Hutt Rec  is situated are some of the Wellington area's most expensive so of course there will be more than your usual share of Tossers.

Just added some confusion for me with this, as it mentions Child as Under 16, not Under 5yrs free as it normally does, looks like another call to the Phoenix hotline to check whether I have to pay for my 4yr old again :P
