Why don't we just drop all the players who have had a 'bad season' then? That would mean no Siggy, Muscat, Lia, Stein, Lochy or Ifill. Would fix everything.

Would still have Paston then.

Goals conceeded would disagree with you. Whilst some of the goals have not been his fault he's hardly been at his bbest this year.

Hogg is gonna get better, the loch isn't. He has been a good servant but it's time for the future now. I would play Hogg now for the rest of the season to give him some continuity so he can prove his worth. A far bigger call but would give a lot of thought to doing the same with boxall.

Meaning he's out of contract.

It's interesting that seems to rate his chances of securing something elsewhere higher than staying at the Nix and trying to impress Ernie.

Guess this means we'll be signing Luke Rowe then.

Is St Jonstone really a step up to the Nix !!!!

6 ft Stopper !!!   sounds like he has grown 2 or 3 inches in the off season

Only if Hogg gets a contract. Still 3 months until our season starts, not sure a couple weeks in Scotland would ruin his chances at the Nix. But Rowe has a foot in the door.

Not sure if this is sarcastic but I'll answer anyway. It's definitely not a step up from the Nix but would still be a really decent club for Hogg to sign with. If he were to get signed, I can see him getting a fair amount of game time and hopefully this will really improve his game. St Johnston would be a similar club to the Nix in terms of playing ability and Hogg would probably earn a contract of around 60,000-80,000 (NZd) a year if he were to sign. It would also put him in an environment full of professional clubs and scouts, so if he were to really step his game up it would put him in the British footballing shop window.

Only if Rowe has impressed Ernie. I don't see it myself, Merrick has talked a lot about pace and Rowe is quite slow. I guess we will have to wait and see.

I think he'd get paid closer to $100k. St Johnstone also qualified for the Europa League qualifiers so I think it's probably a step up.

St Johnstone yesterday announced signing of 25 yr old new left sided triallist defender.... Brian Easton.

I'll take my chance because luck is on my side or something...

Her name is Rio, she don't need to understand...

Oh Rio, Rio, hear them shout across the land..."
