Na he is away for a few more day so you'll have to cope with me in the hot seat. Recording after work.

#InTheZone V95 is out at yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts.

With Smithy suffering from 3rd degree flare burns, the rest of pod chats over the Phoenix shock win over the Wanderers, the signing of Roy Krishna and Milos Lujic, our chances against Central Coast Mariners, and the latest on and off field round 13 action.

#InTheZone V96 is out for your listening pleasure at yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts.

Unfortunately Smithy is the back to talk about his ventures into Wonderland, before the team turns their attention to Wellington Phoenix FC's 1-1 draw with Central Coast Mariners, the re-signing of Italiano, Riera, and Boxall, and this week's home fixture againstMelbourne Victory. In the ASB PremiershipSouthern United stun the bookies and Waitakere UnitedHawke's Bay United FC y are deducted points, and the pod demands the return of the sausage and bacon sannie at Exodus Team Wellington.

Has the kiwis overseas section disappeared? No mention of tommy Smith's ripper of a goal for example...

Cheers for the lads. Some sort of quality as alwsys. Definitely missing the kiwis overseas section.

I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

So far this weekend our predictions have been hilariously inaccurate.

Or his ripper of a mistake to gift QPR their goal. Thanks Tommy, we appreciated it. However, his goal was indeed spectacular and one anyone would be very proud of.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

We struggled to find a format that works for it.  Other than me saying X played 90 minutes this week. We gonna try do a monthly wrap instead.

Really think it should be there on a weekly basis. Its a great piece and I think you will find that many enjoy it. You also learn things that you don't find in the media or even on the forums. I appreciate that the length can vary depending on whats going on every week but that's ok isn't it?

As an idea, rather than x played 90, how about topical points about Kiwis overseas? i.e. when Winston is back, thats topical, Smith scoring a scissor kick goal is topical, Woods getting 10 of the bench is not.

That way you would not need to recant Howieson got 90 for the reserves, Payne got 70 for the reserves cause its largely a given.

Ease back from the long weekend with V97 of #InTheZone at www.yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts.

Off the back of a 5-0 pumping of Melbourne Victory the team picks their jaws off the ground to wrap all the action and ponders Wellington Phoenix FC's chances this Friday night. While in the ASB Premiership, Exodus Team Wellington make it a great weekend for the region with a cheeky 3-1 victory over Waitakere United.

I really enjoyed this week's pod, though it could have done with another 20 minutes of talking about how great the 5-0 victory was :-)

Good effort gents. I have to say of all the podcasts I listen to each week, I always look forward to yours and the completely unreliable BYC by the Beige Brigade the most.

Not wanting to piss in your pocket and all that, but you do a good job and it's appreciated...

I work alongside Paul Ford of Beige Brigade fame. We often talk about getting each other as guests on our respective pods.

Are BYC still doing theirs? I haven't seen one for ages. Though I do note Wells and the lads are now doing an alternate commentary for the cricket through iheartradio which sounds pretty funny

Yep they still do them. ESPN regularly reject them on the basis of various types of profanity, which they find hilarious.

I listened to the first hour of the alternate commentary at the beach on Sunday and thought it was brilliant. Given they'll be busy doing that throughout the entire Indian Tour, I cant see too many Podcasts, although... perhaps the fact that they have time in between games may mean more.

The Tony Blain letters are the work of a genius...

I have floated the idea of Fever doing something similar for All Whites games. However, they have funding streams the likes of which we can only dream of.
