Be honest, that is probably the best review you've ever received.

Allegedly

Production wise it doesn't seem worse than any pro podcast and is better than most a league ones that I've heard.

Grant obviously isn't aware that the yellow fever media budget is spent on southland cheese rolls #yellowfeverexecspendup

Surprised you didn't get a shout out Dale for your input into the rejuvenation of the Chatham Cup - seems to have been driven by social media.  Interesting that NZF are taking the credit for it, but have they done anything different?  I think in the end this has come down to people like yourself (and the others on the pod) taking an interest and pushing this on social media.

Na Jamie Scott from PlayBook Media was the one that pushed it when they got a contract to do the media stuff. We just jumped on the bandwagon.

Steven Holloway from the Herald online also covered it in depth two years ago.

#InTheZone V128 is out yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts. With the Free WeeMac decision finally in, the pod attempts to summarise the situation by seeking the views of the Phoenix, the PFA and the FFA. In better news the Phoenix finally get their reserve team in the ASB Premiership, and the podders outline all the goss from the members' night this week. While in local football, Upper Hutt are relegated from Central League, and Stop Out attempt to replace them.

Really good pod lads, well done...

Okay so the Beau Beusch "interview" is the best thing we've ever done.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Permalink Permalink

If anyone's wondering, Beau wasn't available to speak to us, so provided written answers, which sounded boring when we read them, so we upgraded the fuck out of that with the use of computers.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Radio Academy award stuff that piece was.

If that interview doesn't win you the Football Media award off Piney, nothing will. Gold.

That was a great pod, one of the best.  but was a little dissappointed how we were letting sence and facts get in the way of our Mcglinchey case....

The pod is back to full strength to talk through Wellington Phoenix FC latest preseason game on the Kapiti Coast, the All Whites and Junior All Whites in Doha, and Ryan Nelsen's sacking as Toronto FC coach. Coaches John Brown and Jose Figueira also dial in to preview this week's Chatham Cupfinal between Cashmere Technical and Central United Football Club.

#‎InTheZone‬ V130 is out www.yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts.

Without much Wellington Phoenix FC news of note, the pod analyses the All Whites loss to Uzbekistan, chats to Duncan Oughton during his enforced vacation, covers off the Junior All Whites tour of Doha, and reviews the Chatham Cup final by interviewing Cashmere Technical coach John Brown.

yeah. lets rip the guy who travelled two hours each way to watch a Phoenix game, and then took time out to try report back on the game. He's a fan. Not a broadcaster.
