When did Greenacre last touch the ball?

Our ball speed is too low, we need to play one and two touch football for a while

It's pretty hard to touch the ball when you're being marked by a 6 foot 4 heading machine and the only passes you get are in the air

Conversely its hard to play fluent passing game along the deck when it has more sand than the Sahara!

I fully expect to see a Sandworm from out of Dune make an appearance at some stage in this game

Guessing the pitch isn't good, not able to watch it on my end, having to rely on you lot and the live a-league score thing, internet to slow for a stream..

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Ifill has been so frustratingly lazy up the top, and then when he gets it he tries beat the young cb for pace rather than pass it...

Have you noticed the lack of support getting into position in quick time?

Piss poor pass by Ward - possibly our best opening of the game and he completely scuffs it

AHHHH Wards passing has been mud...this was his big chance and he is murdering it. Maybe a game for Daniel?

Ward has been poor, Hearfield has been good. Hopefully he can get back to his late season form last year at right back, as this will allow Manny to be in the middle when Lochy comes back.

I mean, I suppose it could be just by comparison of greenacre but the Jets are getting a lot of play down that left wing and you see Ifill lose possession then just do that frustrated hand wave and just stand around and watch. We need more passion from our players considering the gravity of this game imo

Ifill has _always_ been like that - not a new thing. It's just that he usually makes up for it down the other end of the park. He's not doing that anymore.valeo2010-11-20 21:53:06

Ward will be all the better for the run in the first half. Expect him to settle into his rythym in the second term. Cant expect much from someone who hasnt seen much football of late.

Ifill blinded by porno mo !

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

Why is the sponsor for Newcastle on their back of the shirt covered up?
This question has been asked in the last 3, maybe 4 Jets matchday threads in the straya forum, and so far no one has managed to answer it, so who knows!

Guessing that with the new takeover of the club and new sponsor. The old NBN sponsorship may not have been needed.
They arent sponsored by them anymore. So instead of paying sh*t loads for new shirts, they covered it up.

Sorry C Diddy... we do expect, basic accurate passes ...and even a goal or two, at this point in the season.
Time to seize the day Ward.

Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!

Could have done with a half vs Waikato.

Again lack of movement off the ball, wrong options and stupid long balls. When will the guys learn, it is simple stuff, we have  the ball players but they are not performing.

So far Durante, Siggy, Lia and Bertos have been pretty good, others have been pretty avg/fail overall. Defense looks much more solid without North but we have been completely gutless in attack.

Ridiculous isnt ist? At least try and avoid that big massive guy at the back who wins everything in the air for NJ.

The only positive for us so far is that our cricketers are playing worse.

Maybe Pasty should drop the gloves and promote himself up the order a little!

That and we havent let in a goal.

Pitch is not great, but NJ are doing better than us. We rarely seem to put more than a few passes together. It looks like the same sh*t as our other recent games, except the defence is a little more robust.

Our attacking strategy seems to be for Ifill or Bertos to play it in for Torpor-Stanley.
