Excellent, I'll try that after I give Ticketek another chance to get things fixed.

EDIT: Hooray! After being told on the phone that I couldn't get any help, but "maybe try the online services team, they might be able to do something", it turns out the online services team can and did, and I am getting "complimentary tickets" sent to me.

I am over the moon. It's just such a shame the people on the telephone are of no use.

I was about to suggest try the Commerce Commission!  It was billed as buy 1 get one free so they needed to front up..shame for me was I got tickets in an inferior area because of the stuffup.

hay guys got tickets to both games but we are in the gold zone, whats up with that? i wantd to be singing, chanting, swearing and jumping around topless like the rest of you haha whats gold zone like? prawn sandwiches and clapping when a goal is scored?

apparently in the gold zone if the home side scores you ask one of the stewards to clap on your behalf.

You ask your butler to ask one of the stewards....

Was in aisle 28 at the weekend (gold zone).  Lot of noise distracting me from the Financial Times.  What is this "goal" thing you talk about?

Inferior area? If you mean the Adelaide ticket, IIRC the deal was you don't get to choose where the free ticket is so it probably wouldn't make much difference.

Someone from the Phoenix definately needs to be informed that this problem is happening as while those who read this forum and check this thread recently will be aware of the situation but think of all those who were first time buyers of tickets.

At this rate we'll have less people at the friday game than usual because many of those who normally come along will think they've got tickets but won't be allowed in when they turn up.

This seems to be pretty likely, the figures of people who aren't getting the double-ticket seems to imply that. Common sense says more than 50% should be the doubles even if they don't want to attend, they can hand them over to friends or simply have them just in case it's a nice day.

I wonder if the Visa pre-order dealio didn't have all the different options on the first page; it certainly looks different to how I remember it to be. I would certainly have taken note... Maybe I'm just imagining it.

Why they didn't just have one set of tickets that let you into both games is bizarre. Someone suggested so they knew how much food supplies they'd need at the ground, but I doubt that's the case, as the Phoenix games seem to have sold bundles of tickets to walk-ups.

They couldn't have one ticket to let you in to both games because of season ticket holders for the first game. However, they should have issued both match tickets whenever a public sale was made for a Galaxy ticket.

Gotcha.

That was what I was pitching at; buy an LA Galaxy ticket, get an Adelaide ticket. I don't think they seriously expect to sell-out the Adelaide game, so some duplicates from the season ticket holders doesn't hurt too much.

i hope my sesaon ticket seat is not taken for the a-league match, as long as i get in with my season ticket to the friday game i wont be bothered where i sit (or stand!) as my seat is in the yellow fever zone.

Damn I'm in Aisle 25. Wish I had the same ticket as my season pass, that is right in the middle of YF.

You may be right...but (1) my tickets said ""both"" and I was not given Adelaide tickets and (2) if that was the case then why wasnt I given my random tickets then..I had to go back 2 weeks later and explain the lapse.  I did note when i went back that there were heaps of seats left in the fever zone so Im not sure what that was all about....I didnt choose them tho as we dont want to stand for 90mins 90 emotions.  Anyway..Im there for both games and thats all that matters I spose.

If your talking about getting the comp tickets for the Adelaide in the Fever Zone when I sorted mine out I wasn't allowed to get tickets there.

Y.F. area isn't regarded as Silver, same price but it's not Silver in their seating, so thats why you won't get free Adelaide tickets in there.

What happens if someone buys a Yellow Fever ticket in my season pass spot for the Bekham game and then gets a free ticket in the same spot, wont there be a double up in seats?

AFAIK the seating is completely different for the 2 games. Season pass holders still get their seat on Friday no matter what.

Not saying there are any rules but whay I got was:

My season ticket in the Yellow Fever Zone plus 3 beside me for Becks. And a printed ticket for all.
4 adults in middle of Yellow Fever Zone for Becks game.

My season seat for Adelaide and was told no tickets in Yellow Fever for Adelaide so I got them
7 in a row next to the zone behind the goal. Easy.

Is swapping tickets for cash selling them?

So are we and what does it matter...  Just make some noise there! We'll be doing it. The same way we do in Aisle 27 every week. You can be the leader rather than the led.
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

If there's 9000 tickets left, about 25,000. Remember also that the game is still over a month away.

One of the boys I bought for can't make it so Erica C is coming with me (the trouble and strife).  Good to get her along but there go my plans for filling the empties with piss and hurling it over all of aisle 9 (we're in row Z).  She's no sport when it comes to being a lad at the football.

i just want to say what a wonderfull job ticketek have done of ballsing up my tickets aparently the have no idea where they r as they were posted on 15 october and have still not arrived. Its not as if im back home in scotland wiating for the bloody things they even said at the end of november if they not here they will send out passes 2 days before the game? how can they expect to do that when its taken 17 days so far. has anyone else not recieved their tickets yet and do they fancy marching on ticketeks offices and crapping on front door step?lol

I went to collect the other tickets that they forgot to give me at Holiday Shoppe and well the lady didn't believe me that I should of been given xtra tickets so she had to ring the ticketek helpline and they told her yes you should of printed 2 lots of tickets....she said oh dear can you give me the details of all the people we have sold to...the reply i guess was no!

She got off the phone and was bright red and shaking and told me how sorry and embarressed she was....i felt sorry for her actually

anyway got the tickets finally and told another friend who also went there to get hers!

wondering if I should email someone at the club to maybe advise them to let the public know if people got tickets to both games and the ticket says "both" on it and they only have 1 that they should go in and get their other one!

Yes, as i mentioned earlier in this thread, there could be a lot of people turning up to the league game thinking they already have a ticket for it.
Could well be a big mess.
