League Table 2012/13 - The Pathetic Thread

Looking good for bottom spot at this stage.

Toast...2, maybe 3, home wins if we play well and little on the road.

 heart leap frog us upto 6th, we drop to 9th

3 of our next 4 at home (WSW, Jets and Perth) Away game is against Sydney... Surely a few points there.
A decent haul would put us right back into the mix.

If we were to pick up 8 or 9 points, knowing how inconsistant the league is, I think that would put us in about 5th or 6th.
As much as people talk about this season being over it really isn't. 2pts off 6th and 3pts off 5th.
Might be a bit of a stretch to break into the top 4 but chuck a good streak together and anything's possible in this league.

The one total I know off the top of my head is that there have already been over 200 goals scored this season.

Total Table - this is where any team's position can be switched with another team?

And you don't need to be able to play to get a position on the table?

Perth game is in Auckland of course so maybe not home home..agree draw is a likely outcome tho..them tired and us away.

 4-0 win and a draw in the other game and we are 6th. Easy.

We will lose the cellar dweller battle next week

OK, so after a bit of fucking around we've finally done it - it's now the equal worst season (up to this point) ever.

More good news, unless we pick up at least a point next week it will be the outright worst season ever.

Also, if we lose next week it will equal our worst ever run of form ever - 4 losses in a row.

Umm, don't stop believin'?

At least Ricki and the happy clappers can no longer hide behind the 'best start to the season ever' statements that were used to deflect  criticism earlier in the season.

Annnnnd LAST.

Hard to believe that between 5th and bottom of the table is just 4 points.

Sydney beating Heart was arguably a better result for us. Keeps Heart in the pack with us. Next week is teams 1-4 vs teams 5-8, if the top 4 win those games and we beat Sydney.... we will be in a better position.

Not scoring enough..19...but defence has leaked for close losses which we cant score our way out of..

I can't believe we've scored the same amount as brisbane!  WSW have now scored 19 goals as well.  Worryingly we have hardly scored goals at home (9 so far).

We have 4 games left at home (in Wellington), 2 games away but in NZ.  Can we get 18 points from those games?
