That game in hand is against the second best team in the competition this season though. All it'll probably do will be make our GD worse

We're still 8th.  7 points from 4th and 16 away from 1st.  Unbeaten in our last 3 games.

5 points from last and 1 win in our last 5 games. And only 1 of those 5 games was against a top 4 side

actually last season we only got 1 point out of 18 on offer from the Jets and CCM - we were probably worse against non final teams than final teams.

we want 5th, we want 5th, we want 5th!

I'm struggling to remember who scored our other 6 goals - Kosta x 1, Gui x 2, Watson x 2? and the other?

Sydney are 10 points clear at the top. Might as well give them the plate now.

The challenge will be to have a lossless season, roar came close a few years back, I think only losing one game.

Sydney are 10 points clear at the top. Might as well give them the plate now.

Thing is that they've played two more games than Victory. If Victory win both of them (against Newcastle and us, so it's highly likely), they are only 4 points clear at the top despite their dominance.

Then if Victory win the Australia day clash it's only a 1 point gap.

Season ain't done yet.

We have said that for the last 3 weeks. Greenie & Des have had a perfect run of games to push us up the table since taking over but we only have 6 points out of 12. We will be back to playing the likes of Victory/Roar in a couple weeks.

For 3 weeks we've been 1 win away from 5th?

That's more consistent than we have been previously.

Yeah, absolutely amazing we've managed to get three draws in a row against fellow mediocre teams!

Mariners have also scored less goals per game than us. But that's hardly a brag.

So, there's a top four, with a gap from the bottom six teams, in terms of points on the table.

But there's also a top two, breaking away from the bottom eight, in terms of goal difference!
