A win against Adelaide then Brisbane would all but confirm 4th for us with 2 games to go. At the least, want it sewn up before the Perth game

worst season by any current a-league club by CCM? Even Roar have got to be thanking their lucky stars for a 20 year licence.

CCM and Roar's defence are some of the worst even when you include the NSL era!

The most suprising stat is that this isn't CCM's worst season defensively.

Obviously there are other tricky permutations though

Are central coast really bad enough to lose 18 games by only conceding 10 goals?

Only because they’re attack is dreadful and they’ve scored -35.

I prefer the "Match abandoned after 63mins due to both sides only having 6 players left on the field" Option!

Fascinating stat RR.  Grim but fascinating.

You'll be able to add 3 wins after the finals anyway.

Yes, I commented a few times a wee while back about how we've struggled against top 6 teams. I didn't want to keep being negative nancy though! The Adelaide result was unsurprising in that way. At the same time, it's not like we've looked incapable of doing better against them, like with the Victory games.

The only thing is that if Adelaide pick up a point against City, we need to get something from the Perth game (or hope that Adelaide drop more points somewhere else). Whereas if City win, then we just have to beat them at home to ensure we finish above both
