Procedures to Determine Placings after Regular Season

At the completion of the Regular Season Clubs are ranked from one (1) through to ten (10), with the first six (6) Clubs progressing to the Finals Series. The position of each Club will be determined based on the following criteria:

1. Highest number of points accumulated during the Regular Season;
2. If two (2) or more Clubs are level on points accumulated, the following criteria is applied, in order, until one (1) of the Clubs can be determined as the higher ranked Club in respect of:
   1. Highest positive goal difference;
   2. Highest number of goals scored;
   3. Highest number of points accumulated in Matches between the Clubs concerned;
   4. Highest goal difference in Matches between the Clubs concerned;
   5. Lowest number of Red Cards accumulated;
   6. Lowest number of Yellow Cards accumulated; and
   7. toss of a coin in the event of a tie of two (2) Clubs or drawing of lots in the event of a tie of three (3) or more Clubs.

Probably was that which game me a false impression that it usually gives GF & GA. Never raise expectations!

It'd be nice columns to have, but obviously not a biggie. If too difficult to add them in, could even maybe get rid of the GF & GA headings off the table.

Probably not the worst result as they'd have been above us regardless (if they'd drawn) due to GD.   Keeps WSW down there too 

Honestly I'm not to phased by that. I'd rather see a bigger points gap between 6th and 7th open up to keep us safe in the 6. Of course I'd love to finish 5th or 4th but playoffs is our must so any result that helps that is fine by me

Best thing about this in my opinion is that we already have more points than we did going into the round 27 last season. Let that sink in for a moment. We've not even played half the season yet. And yeah I know last season was abnormally shark, but not too much sharkier than what's normal for the nix - so it really shows how far we've come already this season.
