Glad to see you keeping the table up to date. The official A-League site has us on 0 points having played just one game still, despite having GCU and other teams fully up to date with three games played.

Shambles.

Holy sh*t you're on my exact wavelength. I checked the table not less than 5 mins ago and was absolutely disgusted with the 'official' standings on the a-league site. It is indeed a shambles to the highest degree.
Bling FC at the top of the league? Get the f*ck outta here

It is. Just a layout thing though.
I'm liking the fact that we are not in negative goal difference. I think we gotta maintain this today

Just checked back and the Phoenix have only ever been fourth ONCE before after a completed round - that was after round six in 2007/08 (they beat Perth 4-1 at home to go 4th).

As the 4th best team in the League could we get Moro to sponsor us next week as a one off?

woo thats great looking. I hoped that 5 points from these first 3 games was manageable but 4 and in the top four is great. Shaping up to be a VERY close season. We must keep an eye on that goal difference.

Sydney next week. 3-0 nix ftw

I agree, and maybe... just maybe... losing him will be good for us in the long term. Too easy to keep relying on one, outstanding, goalscorer.

I think the 2 new signings - Greenacre and Ifill  -  may not be outstanding at this stage, but they both look very good and a potentially potent force when they learn the other's game.

And who knows, either Greenacre or Ifill could yet make the step up from very good to outstanding.

My betting is that by season's end, they'll both warrant that title.

I would imagine with the Bling's blue we'll be in the stripes again this week (hoping)

brilloiant start to the season thus far, especially given the wooden spoon calls from the aussie betting crowd, looking at the bottom four at the moment, if we can maintain our goasl difference we stand a goiod chance of remaining in the top half od the table. NQF are already fairly screwed with a -7 diff,

I would think they're even more screwed with their sh*thouse team.

When we lost that first one 3-2 this season, in season one we'd have given up the ghost, but now we dont give up and we pegged that game back to 2-2. Good to see this change in attitude and IMHO, this has set the basis of our season - Never give up! Lonegunmen2009-08-24 19:38:37

I thought we drew our first game, from 2-0 down.

I remember being there, maybe I forget the result.
