Yep, if the local rag says it, (in the last sentence) it must be right !!

Look forward to the reports from the locals on Wednesdays game, could be a good turnout

If the southerly is still due, I'd consider locking him in a hotel room with no windows for a couple of days.

How's my driving? - Whine here

Definately make sure he knows "u cant beat Wellington on a good day"..and that this isnt a good day....that half the matches are played in the sun of Australia...that half his team mates are not here including his strike partner...that summer is stil to come and that he can cope with back to back winters... and we could  learn

Just looked on the lituanian govt website and the coldest winter temperature recorded there was -42.9 degrees. So I guess we will probably see Neri down at Oriental Bay having a swim some time this afternoon!

In NZ when someone sneezes, you say "Bless you"
In Lithuania, you say "You're welcome"

Don't want to moan but there seems to be SFA info coming out of the club regarding the practice games. Just been on the phoenix's official site and could not find anything.

Contrast that with the Gold Coast site where they have all the practice games listed. There are about seven games coming up June/July and every game has got time, date. opposition and address where the game is.

Would have to agree zinidane, it  seems to be hard work to find out whats going on.
How would the general public know if they wanted a squiz?
Advertised in the paper?
Advertised on the net?
Advertised anywhere?
Now that we ony have a few weeks to go ( time flys ) you would think the club would what to get some momentum

Good point that Zinidane.
It would be good to see these games publicised a bit more.Without the pre-season build-up we had in the last two seasons it seems really low key this time round.Still 2 months to go until the first home game.I guess we will see a real step-up in publicity once the Confederations Cup is over and Ricki and the full team is back here.

Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!

Yeah i agree. Its quite interesting that the lithuanian came to trial when our head coach is on national duty. But i'm sure hes getting updated with all the details anyway. Hopefully there will be a huge advertising campaign when everything is in place e.e when greenacre and the targetman are here.

Neri

umm.............. he moved the ball around good.

and........ used his pace when needed.

well................. his heart rate went up to 152.2500 bpm at about 11.45am

the lactic acid built up in his calf (gastrocnemius)  at 1.55pm which forced him to stretch.
so...... he preformed some simple calf stretching exercises at about 2.00pm

he then moved onto some protien bars.

one was double choch, the other - a blend of banana and strawberry

he finished the day at 2.46pm, an hour early than the others.

and..... well..... i have just recieved word from Tony p.

Neri has had desert and has gone to bed ladies and gentleman.

He has gone to bed.

he is sleeping in a king sized bed with feather pillows and black and white duvet set.

and....... yep...... just received word now

- he is asleep.

he is asleep people.
