They got that shot quickly... about 10 seconds in the Phoenix/Sony sign in the background collapsed.

shirts looked very good.
The banner fell down while Terry was speaking in the media conference. Classic bloopers moment. Heads will roll.
Wonder if any of the team are going to get David James Playstation addiction.

jst another example of how professional the club is and its lofty goals and ambitions. would have been easy i imagine to get a small fry sponsor and live with it but not the nix. its all the big time for us!

Quite possibly.

I have it on good authority that the club shop will be selling branded strips very soon.

Home jerseys only.
No White Away jerseys this season

There you go!

Even I, the disliker of that Black domination might just have to invest in a branded one. The Sony logo helps break up that dreaded Black.

Perhaps the club or sellers of the kits would allow prior purchasers to take their jersey back and have th logo ironed on?  A good will jesture to those already purchased??
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Well that settles it.  When we get our new TV it's going to be a Sony

Got the Sony telly already.

I think the kit looks great with the Sony logo on it. I've got the 'unsponsored' shirt but I think the wife's housekeeping will be a bit short at the end of the month 'cos I'm gonna get the Sony version as well.

Interesting idea about getting the logos put on the shirts LG, but I'm gonna keep mine with no logo. Bit of a limited edition and all that carry-on.

Cheaper to buy Sony stuff from Noel Leeming or Harvey Norman than the Sony store.

Recently purchased a Sony 32" LCD Bravia V - $1799 from Noel Leeming - $1899 in the the Sony store

When Hibs, went up, to win the Scottish Cup - I wisnae there - furfuxake!

TSMA,

Try Champs, on the link in the banner.  They might be able to help but set up for the screen could be costly.

Thanks HN.

May be able to talk to Sony.  I know a few people in that area.  If it can be done it would be worth it.  Only 4 in country.  God bless Reebok!!!!!!!

Any news on how much we're getting from them and how this deal compares to some of the other A-League clubs?

It'll be more than Newcastle and Queensland are getting

Westpac Stadium Car Parking for Phoenix games
Wellington Girls College grounds in Thorndon (motorway exit - Murphy Street) has a number of car parks for sale for the Phoenix games. The college grounds on Murphy St. are a 5 min. walk away from Westpac Stadium.
These car parks are being sold to raise funds for the schools Rowing teams.
Car parks are $10 each for each of the Phoenix games including the David Beckham & 4 January 2008 games. Note that all these games are on a Friday night (except the David Beckham game) and parking in the city will be at a premium.
Get there early, dont miss out, there are a limited number of parks. Send this on.

Crikey!

As a member of RPNYC I am startled to learn that the club has gone out of existence!

Coene's Provisions is UPSTAIRS (Formerly Martin Bosley's Seafood Restaurant).

The yacht club, and wardroom, is still very much there. The staff of Coene's Provisions are potentially going to staff the Wardroom bar and kitchen, but the yacht club is not "formerly" at all.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.

Really hope it's the licence extension, we could sign Ernie for 10yrs but nothing for him to do in just over a year if no licence. Would be nice to be both.

So

Licence extension, Ernie re-signing, W-League team or being sold off are the 4 options thus far.....

In order of likelihood I reckon.

Ernie - 70%

Extension - 28%

Sold - 1%

W-League - 0.5%

Friendly match vs big name - 0.3%

New Stadium - 0.1%

Other 0.1%
