I just did and he said it would be far better than getting splinters

Thanks for those stats Roddy.

Could you possibly get someone to proof-read your posts first?  English is a difficult language I know but punctuation is quite universal to most languages.

I like to give people encouragement rather than criticism (unless they turn their back on the club).

topright/Roddy I was merely posting as banter to those (looking at you El Grap and Smiff) who said Rojas was a shoe-in for starting. You have taken this is a new level however.

I'm old school too, but I don't actually like labelling people as failures (all very PC I know) - especially if, under adequate guidance/mentoring, they can be motivated to improve themselves.

Of course if they have a p!ss poor attitude then I don't really care if they end up as illiterate bums on the street begging for money and writing articles for the DP.

Brown coz what other cm are there?? and he pops up with goals even when he's playin sh*t. Bertos has been before. LOckhead well he's in rickis back pocket! Lia couldn't buy a game a few seasons ago! Every coach has there favorites which will mean players won't be dropped and the fact the nix only have like 14 players on their roster. End of the day a move to victory was the best thing in the time and place he was in and the nix were in u can't argue that!

Rojas was not even on the bench for Victories last game. I have found nothing to suggest he is injured.....but his form has been scratchy for a while.

A big test of mental character for the young lad. I always had a question over his mental strenght... He now has to show he has the balls to pick himself up and fight for his spot back in the starting 11.

I'm over his shafting of the Nix...I can forgive but never forget. I just hope that he comes through and we can see his talent to the max. Certainly we need him at his best for the AW's

Adelaide's change in fortunes since the manager change certainly won't have helped Durakovic.

I know, I know, its serious!

Be interesting to see what a new manager makes of their roster. Lot of imports not getting much game time, only Hernandez really 1st tier and it is also quite heavy on the number of attacking players. Might be worth asking Marco how he likes it over there, I'd have him back here in a flash. rjmiller2012-01-06 12:29:37

He won't come back until he can play CAM and train in world class facilities (probably means that he can hide in a bigger toilet from TVNZ reporters). And we get a better Smiggle shop.

Among its many problems, at least as far as the Victory are concerned, is that it asks far too much, from a defensive perspective, of the wide men, Harry Kewell on the left and Marco Rojas on the right on Saturday, especially with the defence sitting so deep.

Starting these two in the same line, or just a touch advanced of Grant Brebner and Leigh Broxham, means that they are playing far too deep and shouldering too much defensive responsibility.

In the past two games it has meant that Kewell, in particular, has been too isolated from the front two, Archie Thompson and Jean Carlos Solorzano.

This contrasts to the three or four games before Launceston when he seemed to be used higher, in a 4-2-3-1, and had more of an influence in the front third.

What has also been evident in the past two games is that Kewell doesnt appear to have been given license to roam across the forward line, where he can link with the likes of Thompson and Solorzano. He has essentially been working in the left corridor, up and down.

With his extra defensive burden in the flat four, it was perhaps no surprise the find Kewell replaced an hour into the derby.

On the other side, with Rojas sitting too deep, it was the Heart who took the initiative, with Craig Goodwin having a splendid debut.

Young winger Marco Rojas, who has been a more regular fixture in the starting line up in recent weeks, was singing the new coach's praises yesterday, particularly his humorous criticism.

''They [Magilton and Durakovic] have different views on football. He's [Magilton] given us that confidence, that's all you need in football. He's helped out a lot of players and that's why it's getting better for us,'' Rojas said.

I see in that interview on the main page that he still hasn't ruled out playing for Chile. Aiming for some sort of mega-judas status perhaps?

Very interesting to learn that "the A-League has more attributes" than Spanish football. What does that even mean?!?

Yeah I wondered that too. Like surely if he was committed to NZ he'd be like I am eligible but I've declared my future with NZ. Not I'm not sure of the rules, but I think I could go and play for them.

been wondering of late if the "better facilites" in Melbourne have made up for the fact that Rockarse won't be playing in the finals this season?
