Where do you lot think the Doom Post (or any other decent rag) are gonna get their stories from if we lock all these mental threads?

OK so the thread is now called "Marco...the new Smeltz"

Oh...I get it.......so he's leaving coz his missus prefers the shopping in Melbourne to Wellington. That explains everything.

Relax and lighten up guys! Even if Marco Rojas leaves, so what? What if he is staying? Take a deep breath and hold those hordes of outbursts that we may regret later.

Did you read that Gamba Osaka thumped Melbourne Victory a 5-1 last night in Osaka?

How about getting our Wellington Phoenix to the level Gamba Osaka plays at?? Also, how about getting more people to but season passes from now on? Marco Rojas is a good player but we need a team!

Disagree. I don't think Kosta has have every right to say that Ricki doesn't trust homegrown talent. Kosta MAY have every right to say that Ricki didn't trust his talent. Subtle difference.
Hard without a youth side to keep track of performances. Kosta got game time, didn't cement a spot. Put in some decent and some woeful performances. When you got Broich making play for you things start seeming easy.

Is Kosta not in the All Whites squad? Is this a beat up or is it real poor?

EDIT: beat up
Asked if the Phoenix were doing enough to nurture young Kiwi talent, Barbarouses said coach Ricki Herbert was in a "tough spot".

"They're always looking for a good overseas striker or good overseas attacking players and I think they always seem to take priority over the local boys.

"I think that might be where the problem is.

"Maybe a little bit more trust in the younger players might be needed."

AB, re the outbursts, its all a bit "shut-gate-horse-bolted" really now, and if you had been following this thread you'd know there's actually plenty of "lighten up" already.
We have a team, Marco is still a member of that till March 31st, afterwards we'll see.
Gamba Osaka began in 1993.Lets see how we are in 13 or14 years time, if we make it?

Somebody posted in a thread ages ago that Crowther must be leaving the club because he was selling his telly

Make it so.

Can't find stats of Tards vs Osaka but I am sure we dominated the Tards more than Osaka did back in the beginning of Jan. 30 shots to the Tards' 4. Sounds like the Tards had more against osaka, including a goal disallowed.

So based on that logic us > osaka Bullion2011-03-02 16:37:33
