so looking at the Ryos site the away shirt is different to the one in the ad... yellow shoulders and white box in the middle? that looks pretty weird, I hope they go with the straight white shirt, for the sake of the players' away-self-esteem more than anything.
Still can't decide about the new shirt, I kind of like it but the 'pinches' into the sides of the side stripes trigger my OCD as much as the texture of the Wellington Beds logo iron on transfer from last year.
My beef is that there are so few stripes to begin with, so I feel those pinches even more.
I might come around to it yet, just need to find a way of understanding the pinches before I can build a relationship with them. What is going on inside their minds?

Which would seem a little silly as a lot people who want long sleeve but dont want to wait will get a short sleeve and may not want/need long sleeve in a year

I don't know if there is a really logical way other than say a petition (which the tards are trying to do). The only other way I can think of is if Adidas did a small run of long sleeves and see how they sell.
IMHO it seems that Adidas is just saying they might to keep us happy, the goals they set seem a bit arbitrary.
I would really like a long sleeve and prepared to pay more for it.

This is exactly the issue though. If Adidas are anything like Nike (who I've had a bit to do with) then a "small run" is hundreds of shirts. They have to convince retailers to buy these, AND stock the short sleeve, and that is a pretty high risk position for those retailers.
The one thing that's certain is that nobody is going to buy two shirts, so if you don't produce two types you are cutting down the risks.
I'd like a long sleeve as well, but I appreciate the realities from Adidas's and the retailers' perspectives.
