Phoenix kit - The return of the stripe

Hey guys, these current kits, will they be used next season? Or will there be new ones

They should be used again next season apart from a possible one off commemorative kit to celebrate the Phoenix 10th season in the A-League

I'd suspect new kits or a variation on these kits for 10 years.

I'd say the kits will stay for another year, as we seem to always stick with kit designs for 2 years.

Just sponsors change and as someone has said, the 10th season commemorative kit (in which I might try to get in contact with Nix HQ about..)

tbh I hate the kits this season and the performances in them haven't exactly helped me warm up to them. Hoping for a change.

It does have a Real Madrid feel to it. It's growing on me. even though it's not in use anymore

Sorry to keep bringing up this season's kits, but because I am a Kids' side 15-16Y, is it worth getting the smallest men's longsleeve size?
The 15-16Y is not tight on me, but it's the right lengths.

..Or will it be a massive difference?

I thought I would try and come up with some Adidas concepts for 2017-18. Here's the home kit..

Bring back the stripey! We have lost the stripes for 2015-16 and 2016-17, so extra stripes to make up for the lack-of stripey.
With black socks, black numbers and plain back.

We are still a year away from another kit, but I adore the new AC Milan stripey. It looks pretty fudgen awesome in yellow and black too (credit to @AardigOrange on the tweets for mockup)

Love the new AC Milan stripey too - Canterbury Dragons should in that, rather than the dog's breakfast kits of late. Guessing Huawei logo will have to be in corporate colours though...

Didn't a Nix staffer say on a podcast that we use the American templates/source from America now? Did I make that up? Probably look to the MLS to see what we might be getting. Hopefully the Milan template is there somewhere.

So, is it official now that the sash has replaced the searchlight as number one away kit? Football Central has it listed as 16/17 away kit.

Ummm we have had 98 A-League players, maybe a couple more if you include FFA Cup Caps

To be fair, not all of them deserve to be on the list.

Been said on twitter, that the design for the shirt would have to have been submitted last year. So the last five players that got starts would be the ones that have missed out on their name on the shirt.

What is the fixation with "Black". Something colourful might have made a nice change.

Actually, it's probably part of our metrics to make us seem more like the NZ Nix and less like Wellington

god no, i hate black football kit, it doesn't stand out, yuk, yuk, please dont wear it in wellington.

I wonder if the club has a full set of Phoenix kits through the ages including the one offs. 

The annoying thing about this thread is I keep seeing the Nix version of the AC Milan shirt at the top and get excited because it the most amazing shirt I have seen.

What I've seen in that sneak peek video doing the rounds looks fudgeing atrocious.
