Fun fact. Priestman (Consett) and Greenacre (Wakefield) were born 115 miles apart.

Wish we could get our kit released as early as AFC manage to.

We've had a new kit each season for at least a decade now

Yeah think there is one coming just would be nice to have it released earlier than we normally manage to do. As pointed out to me maybe AFCs is released because of the games coming up.

They will be hoping if they can get 45k to Eden Park, that a few need them.

Not sure a makeshift AFC could grab 45k Spuds fans. Spuds will be putting out a second team, not their World Cup stars so to speak.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

I'm already imagining something Spursy will happen. The team in white from London will bottle the result. They will go down a goal pass back um and er, then lose.

I flirted with the idea of wearing my Nix third kit to the game on the grounds that it’s kinda white and it makes clear which team I want to lose, but decided against it because (a) it’s kinda petty, (b) it sends a message that AFC are living rent-free in my head even during the off-season, and (c) if Spurs do Spurs it up then I wouldn’t hear the end of it.

So AWs shirt it is, that way I can still blend in with the not blue and black crowd.

Has anyone mocked up some of the distinctive World Cup kits in yellow and black.  I am thinking the Norwegian and USA kit.

Hats off to you Simon, you're a brave soul. I couldn't stand one minute in that atmosphere. I've only been to one derby at Mt Smart (the very first one there) and have no plans to go back there for another.

I know this weekend’s match is at Eden Park, I’m referring to the atmosphere at any AFC match.

I’m wearing my Arsenal shirt and scarf to the game so don’t worry at all about being petty I’ve got that covered pal.

Three for me, and two for them.

Cheering on the AWs at Eden Park  in March was a surprisingly fun experience - Deported did a good job of showing up for country rather than club, and despite a bit of friendly banter about coming from Wellington I had some good chats with people I’d normally be chanting at from across the stadium.

Way better atmosphere than the September NZ-Aus game at Mt Smart, where it really did feel like we were in the middle of the Port. So yeah the amount of blue and black at this game will be a bit triggering, but I’ll be in the Spurs active zone which will be fun (even if it does feel like a one-night stand cheating on NUFC).

Any word/rumour on this seasons' 20th Anniversary Kit? I wish to buy one and have "Daniel" & "11" on the back as homeage.

Hopefully they'll actually release the kits before the league reveals it in their promo, not like the shambles last year

Last year's was a really early release for the Wrexham match, I thought. Generally throughout the years it's usually been released in the last week of September.

If there is a charity strip this year, I hope it will be to support the Hoiho yellow eyed penguin since they are critically endangered and they are our clubs colours.
