Just went to the new official store. Looks good from the outside, which is where I had to stay. Where the damn wheelchair access?! I know, they've blocked it with displays!
Come on. Where are we living, and in what century! Sort it out Store Owners!

btw. whats the story with the sh1t coverage on SkySports?! I have no idea when any other game is actually on...

I too thought there wasn't really that much in the shop, but there wasn't last year either really.

Ideas for new stuff (can be corrected if item already exists!) -

Phoenix calendars - launched with a player signing session as well. Always a good xmas present for the kids!

Different styles of scarves - I think there is only one kind of scarf just now? It's decent, but some different ones would add more variety. Plain yellow and black with just an embroidered badge at one end would be good I think.

Little metal badges with club crest on etc - a lot of people collect these things back in the UK and put them on scarves, hats etc

Phoenix toasters / kettles! - I'd be tempted if they looked decent!

Other than the above, just maybe a bit more variety with official t-shirts / tops etc and maybe a review on the pricing - I like that grey hoody they have, but not enough to pay $110 for it.

An untapped market that begs for attention, also include A3 sized player posters, Pencil cases, stickers (of individual players and or the club Logo) Coffe mugs of various sorts, towels, more variety of either yellow or black pillow cases and or duvets. Beer tankards and wine glasses. Those fake tattoos/face paint. wrapping paper, a selection of birthday cards.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

For the lads a Phoenix kettle that goes off the boil half way through, but then kicks back in again for the last few minutes.

For the Phoenix ladies - some Daniel, Leo, Paul undies...
(maybe also for C-Diddy and others as well, just get them to put it in a brown paper bag)

I'd imagine that the cost (monetary and time) associated with producing that kind of arrange of products probably doesn't make it viable for a few sales here and there.

Unfortunately most of the cost is the ripoff A League licence fee. Do the FFA not realise that if they keep it cheaper, the more will get sold and the profit will be bigger even if it takes a little longer to achieve?? Greed by the FFA is screwing the game over and more importantly, screwing the fans over.

Far too much of that isn't available at club store.
You know we belong together...

Thanks to the staff who gave me stickers the other day.  I have too many though, if anyone wants one for their car, workplace, or whereever, PM me and I'll post out to you Free of charge if you don't live in Wellywood but still NZ.  yay my work has postage paid envelopes, they won't mind me taking some for the greater good.  They owe me anyway.
