I thought the article was fine. Cite specifically what the issue with it is...
Phoenix has a good away draw against a pretty highly ranked team, pressing for a win at full time and playing attractive football; and we get this crap, all with a negative slant ...
"Wellington Phoenix marginally enhanced a poor away record
"showed an attacking intent after halftime which had been sorely lacking before the break.
"Wellington entered the game determined to improve a dismal record away
from home since joining the league in 2007-08 which now reads 15
losses, three draws and just five wins.
"A muted performance in front of goal in the first half in Brisbane
against a side who had leaked six goals in their previous two matches
did not help Wellington's cause.
"Wellington coach Ricki Herbert tinkered with his playing formation at halftime
and then some begrudgingly positive comment about the second half
more like a hatchet job than a sport report
Suitably specific citings for you there, Jeff?
I
didn't think the article was fine myself,
its tone and tenor arrogant almost dismissive at times, with reluctant acknowledgement that the Nix dominated and frustrated Roar for the majority of the match.
Yes there's plenty to work on, but this season the Nix really has some promise..how about some encouragement from our local press ffs,.. leave the crap reporting to the Aussies.
Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!
