Ifill has been terrific ... he looks better every week ... brilliant signing.

Love the way he tells himself off for any mistakes. He is really up for it.

Yea, Ifill looks good on the ball at times. Unfortunately when him and Bertos have been in attacking positions they've been too isolated. Need to rethink our away tactics if we are going to keep having a first half like that.

sydney isolating our attackers pretty much

no midfield support that half and no wide back runs forward so lonely soldiers up front

but they've not conceded early and if that was why we were  holding back then could be a different 2nd half

I'm going to go the other way with a Sydney win 1-0 with a Lia *. We have not threatened and Bolton has done squat. They have created more. Both teams look ordinary but we look more lethargic than Sydney. I make this statement not knowing of the effect of how the Lia/Diego swap is gonna play out in the 2nd half.
fair assessment - we have been the poorer of two poor sides. theyve not created much but a wee bit more than us. but pattern may not continue. lets hope they pull out a second half like last week.

I hate how we change our formation every week for home and away.

Best thing I've seen all game!
Although that was a good way to start the 2nd half.

Marco should have been on thr bench to run at defenders in the last 20. He would skin alot of defenders. Hes quality.

Ive seen him play in the Northern League and NZFC. Both these leagues have less skill and are more physical and Marco has had no problem. He has stood out in both.

We had a shot.
We had a shot on target.
We had a quality shot on target.
We had a quality shot on target from Ferrante.

Am I drunk and seeing things?

Lia has done a few things well and a few things not so. Diego did nothing well today

If we keep playing like this we're going to conceed. Absolutely nothing going forward at all. Crap mindset. Suppose we showed that by bringing Lia on instead of Daniel.

we will pay for it soon if herbert continues to play for the draw.
greenacre has no support and we just give the ball back to them constantly
