We did offer him an extension.  Not sure how many years it was.  Obviously some of the media didn't do their research and claim that Kosta is a Phoenic reject etc.

last season we had a starting side that was playing well,he couldnt break in. he couldve stayed and probably wouldve been pushing bertos for his spot now. but he chose to go to the roar where he was apparently told he would start. good on him. i dont see where all the "phoenix got it wrong" is coming from.

Would love to have him in the squad with my Nix glasses on. From my NZ football perspective to see him playing with and learning from Brioch and Henrique is awesome and with a coach with as much experience as Ange. The more kiwis playing professional footy and holding down starting spots the better, especially if they can command an import place!
