We just didn't seem to be up for it. Yes it was bad weather but we were just flat, no spark or oomph for some reason.

smith you tool, warner should have come, never a freekick. happy days

Yes, lino was right there didn't bat an eyelid. Blatant dive.

Doesn't excuse poor defending though.

We may have just exchanged 1 competition point for the return of Mark Paston. Will it pay dividends in the end?

Atleast we didn't throw a lead away, only missed out on 1 point anyway.

and Smith probably played himself out of a contract right at the death there.

I missed the infringement that lead to the sh*t defending leading to the goal. Was it blatantly sh*t?

Just a quick question...Why was Smith even marking Mitchell? Surely SigmUnd or Dura should have been considering he is the main aerial threat with Smetlz/Mehmet off?

If I see you Warner I'll pelt you with the closest thing I have available.

Be careful what you throw because with his reaction time he probably won't be able to swat it away.

Smith's more than big enough to cope with Mitchell. It's just inexplicable he got so easily caught wrong side, especially in the last minute of time added on. That loss of concentration is really poor at any level.

I only saw it out the corner of my eye but it looked a rubbish call to me.

a) it wasn't a fould. the lino was right there and never raised his flag.

b) smith lost his man. that's his first mistake since he's been playing. poor but had to happen sooner or later.

c) oh dear God what does Paston have to do to get a chance to play again? I honestly thought warner had caught the ball. The seemed so calm and poised, he just went down and had his arms close to his tummy as one would when he catches a ball.

The guy is a twig. Also the cross got caught by the wind and dipped a crap load, fairly hard to defend with a header anyway.

Oh and to add, the most enjoyable part of that game was driving through puddles near the training paddock in newtown.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Poor result. I think that Paston will be back in next week (which I think is a plus). Its hard to drop a keeper when we are winning but Ive never had confidence in Warner. Feel sorry for Smith I really want him to stay and do well, he needed a big game today to clinch that (hopefully Im wrong). We are going to have to start getting points away from home if we are to get anywhere this season

not me, i went from my door step to the stadium with barely a drop of rain on me. Still some effort went in though, namely having to leave my couch.

Given I'm in Auckland, Barry, no. Hence the question.

No crowd figure was mentioned on Sky, and nothing has appeared in either the Stuff or A-League website match reports. And the club is still trying to find some positives from the performance before it issues its media release (so we might be waiting a while ...)

Cheers,
