Two tickets for me Ahmad. I will try and message you on facebook.

It's ok, we can see you.

This wasn't the official match thread. It was to draw attention to some extremely low cost fares which would have saved Feverites a bit of coin. Apologies for the caps but no apologies for the opportunity it gave those that didn't know about them, the means to get to Dunedin and/or Auckland for a price they could afford.
I also don't recall ever making a thread title in caps before.

Now with added curtain raiser! ASB Youth League, but better than nothing.
One of the most anticipated away games will be against Otago United at Forsyth Barr Stadium on March 3.
The Nelson Falcons will play under the roof in a curtainraiser for the Wellington Phoenix in their round 23 A-League match against Melbourne Heart.

Yeah cheers man, i booked my flights in as soon as i saw this.
For the pre-season game, I seem to recall someone posting that a number of clubs from Invercargill were coming up for their end of season trip. Wonder if they will make the trip up again?
Sorry I've been off the grid. I've been doing a crazy road trip to Auckland.
Invercargill had busloads for August friendly (Saturday 5:30pm) but none that I recall for midweek December.
Sunday afternoon will be tougher than Saturday afternoon but I will be in Invercargill drumming up support in January in the hope of some busloads.

Hi Ahmad, when do you think you will be making the group booking? Trying to convince a few others from Welly to try and make the trip down.

Sorry for the slackness guys. I promise that I'm not normally like this, but the last 3 weeks has been crazy with the North Island visit encompassing Nixmas (thanks Yellow Fever once again for your wonderful camaraderie and hospitality).
I'm back on board now and ready to take payments for this booking. Things will be finalised sometime in February but I would really appreciate your early booking and payment (where possible) so that it will allow me to fully concentrate on the task of doing what I can to promote the Phoenix and the match in the week leading up to the match.
I have that week set aside to do as much as I can for the match/Nix/Nixie, so the less I need to deal with the ticketing and booking the better for me (and for the greater good of the Club).
Here are the ticket prices:
$25 Adults
$15 students with ID
$10 child
$60 for 2 Adults and 2 Children.
We have the first 6 rows in aisle 303A in the seating plan below. That's 6 rows deep, 22 seats across.

Please get in touch if you want to buy tickets. You can email me:
dunedinphoenix (at) icloud (dot) com
Or get me on twitter - @ahmadnz. I can also be contacted by FaceBook message to the Phoenix Dunedin Club Members page.
Come on you 'Nix!

Introducing the Yellow Fever Dunedin concierge service!
Launching today, this free concierge service offers football travellers the opportunity to arrange accommodation, sightseeing, tickets, and obtain local insider information about Dunedin.
Feel free to let others know, including Heart fans. I'll do almost anything for you!
P.S. Can those people flying to Dunedin please email me dunedinphoenix (at) icloud (dot) com with their flight details and number of passengers so that I can try and match you up with any other travellers (if you wish) for airport transfers? At this stage I am likely to be at the airport on Saturday morning (2 March) picking up Jeff (unless any other duties arise that morning) so can probably bring you into town if you arrive at this time. Depending on times I may be offering drop off to the airport on Monday also (probably not first thing in the morning though!).
If we have big enough groups arriving at the airport and you are happy to share a ride with other YF, then we can arrange Jaguar limousines for transport which I have previously recommended and which have had extremely good feedback from those that used them. Faster and cheaper than "shuttle" services too.

Also, is there anyone that will be attending the Phoenix vs Adelaide game at Westpac Stadium the weekend before who is going to be driving from Wellington down to Dunedin? It would be great if we could take some of the flags and the big yellow banner down (potentially even the massive scarf), but all of these are too heavy/large to be able to take on a plane. Last year I-I-Iffy drove up for the preceding Nix game and then down to Dunedin with all the flags, but he'll be unable to do it again this year due to his relocation to the West Island.

OK so I have possible interest in a big bunch of tickets from a local club group so if you are coming for the game could you please let me know as soon as possible (if you haven't already) about tickets if you want them? I wouldn't want any of the Fever core group to miss out.
Cheers :)

If you are coming down for this game (or planning to) could you please let me know ASAP if you will be in town by 11am on Saturday 2 March?
I need a group of keen Feverites to form a Yellow Fever Invitational V to play a Melbourne Heart Invitational V on the Octagon lawn.
I've put the feelers out to the Heart so they should be able to come up with a team. I've made a booking for the lawn. And I'm banking on Nixie being there too.
Exciting times!

Patrick and Fever Exec - is there a suitable bag which the scarf could be bundled into for safely checking in on a flight? I imagine it won't be very heavy (by luggage standards) but will certainly be bulky.

I notice tickets not available on the Club's site, is it just a case of waiting or they already available through another ticket office?

Of course I hope you will consider getting tickets through me in the Fever booking so we can create an awesome atmosphere for the team on the day :)

Try to arrive by Sat lunchtime day before if you can for the YF match vs Heart!

Anyone else after tickets? :)
Sorry if you are still waiting a reply from me to an email etc. I will have received it I'm sure but I have been pretty busy and wanted to wait until after the Eden Park game before a final push. I will be more sorted next week.

Hi Vim or anyone else after tickets,
Please flick me an email to: dunedinphoenix (at) icloud (dot) com
Also if you let me know what flights you are arriving and departing on, I will aim to hook you up with others on same flights to arrange faster and cheaper airport transfer options.
Cheers :)

A few of us are doing a roady from Christchurch for it. Defo amping for this one!
I assume you have me on the list for tickets Ahmad? 2 please, one for me and one for Lise...
Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.
Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.
Cheers bwtcf, I have been totally snowed under but this week will be putting it all together and updating everyone.
Thanks to everyone who has been in touch. Look forward to hearing from others!

When do you think you going to be able to place the booking Ahmad?
Yellow Fever - Misery loves company
I will leave it as late as possible for the benefit of those late to the party (thanks to everyone who has been organised - it makes my job a hell of a lot easier).
If anyone is sitting on the fence you had better get moving because the very last of the affordable flights appear to be disappearing.
You can currently go Saturday 1205/1405 to Dunedin and Monday 1820/1955 back to Wellington for $129 each way (bag only).
These are the only flights available for the weekend available for under $149 each way. Once these cheaper tickets are sold, the fares are going to rise SHARPLY. Welcome to Monopoly :(
You can of course get cheaper flights on Friday and/or Tuesday should you wish to.

Are there any responsible sober adults that will be coming to Dunedin and are willing to volunteer some of their time during the Saturday lunchtime Octagon event? I would be greatly indebted to anyone that can help. Please let me know :) Thanks.

I am responsible, and an adult. I could arrange to be sober around lunchtime on Saturday, but we are doing the Taieri Gorge Railway on the Saturday. Sorry mate.
