Most of them are quite ugly.

Lochhead, Ferrante, McKain and Brown have all been very, very impressive. Still disappointing that we never seem to have any real options up front though Melbourne have almost been the same.

IMO had a decent shout at a penalty right at the end there.

Fred has been poor like I said before. He must be nervous coming up against his old team. I would bring him off soon.

Best 45 minutes of Phoenix football this season I reckon.

I think the individual performances have made it look quite good but the team tactics are just not right. Smeltz is too often left up front alone and we try and lump it forward to him which is the reason that Melbourne have had 61% possession.

Too often we cross it and there is no one in the middle as well though that changed a little near the end of the half.

Also think that Fred needs to stay central and not be pushed wide to be effective.

good first half by the boys, Melbourne had the one onslaught which resulted in their goal & apart from that have not looked like scoring,  but we have had more opportunities, getting the ball in the box more often, need to be a bit more creative but looking promising.

Crap Brebner is off. We were over running him in midfield.

Fred is just off. Passes are missing etc
