That's why I play Futsal.

Played QW Monday lunchtime for the first time in a couple of years.  Got an elbow in the nose for my troubles.

only played futsal a few times at some chinese embassy or something

was filling in for a mates team who were all very good and was a tad out of my depth... but did manage to play against a team of thugs there once. Not nice.

I just dont get how hot-headed people can get at football in particular.

Reserves likely to field all youngsters with Musa the only player with A-League experience available. Where is Diego?

Diego is so injury prone.

Spends all of Phoenix trainings slowly runnings laps because he is shaking off an injury. Easy pay day.

Was going to go to this but I've been struck down with ebola or something. Might still turn up, but it would not give me much time to get back to watch Nix v Roar.

Was late starting I think, that's why it wasn't there.

Does Liam Little play for Auckland City? Former U-20 keeper, wondered where he played.

Interesting Scott Basalaj got the call up in 'keeper for Nix over Coey Turipa.

Andrew Milne should be starting for ACFC.

Was at Waitak, has moved across town.

Basalaj kept in the Central league last year (I believe) Turipa never got that high.

Why, because he failed overseas?

He kept Mainland Premier League, and for Canterbury youth team. But he was in the NZ U-17 set up previous to Scott, and looked quality there. Also has been training with the Phoenix a lot in the last few years, prior to being involved with Canterbury.

Um no, because he does start for them in the ASB Prem and he's young. Why not give him a shot against the Nix A

Interesting the differences between live commentaries. Some have heaps of detail, this one has very little.

Central League > daylight > Mainland Premier League.  Just saying.  Look, I know you're loyal to him with his Nelson links and all but the general impression here is that he failed to live up to the hype.

I guess they're spreading the love and giving players a break with important games either side.  Much like the 'Nix.

He does mention the Steak sandwiches at kiwitea which last time I had one were just superb.

Crowd: 276. I think the ASB Challenge games should be the ones taken to the smaller provinces. You could play this game at a school during lunch time and you'd get much more than that!

Do find it amusing that the Phoenix side is all kiwis yet Aucklland City have a stack of imported players out there.

I think he's performed wherever he has played, but it's hard for a young 'keeper to go anywhere just based on potential alone. Goalkeeper is the only position where it's much harder to get a start if you're young just because the rest of them play until their hair goes grey. I think he's now just struggling to find a club where he can start. Which is why, he's heading to Brisbane, according to the Nelson Mail.

Liam Little is probably in a similar boat. Was a New Zealand U-20 keeper, but isn't a ASB Prem starter.

If he'd stayed in Dunedin he would be.

Did they have TAB odds CBoz or you got a bet on with someone?  I don't like your chances looking at the line-ups.

Still 1-0 after 61m. I do know Bob Pearce, he's a good bloke, but I have to say, his live commentaries do not contain much. I sometimes help out with Waiakto FC commentaries, good fun but is hard work
