Ok this will be bad for Phoenix, but it will be great for All Whites we can't have both.

PLEASE!!!

We need to keep Moss, if he goes we will need to find a good Aussie keeper, we can't have a fumbler in goal all season.  Pasty is an excellent back up but I do not think starting quality

1 fumble and he earns the title of fumbler? It was his worse game this season but it was far better then Moss's worse game.

Okay maybe I was harsh, but just his last game, that goal SHOULD have been saved, no doubts, it almost cost us 2 points.

Then there was those punches, several (2 that I can remember) which should have been easily caught, punching them as was done could have been very costly for us.

We cant afford to loose Moss he is our #1 keeper - (you dont see Melbourne trying to steal paston)

Our two best players last year, smeltz and moss, gone burger

One of them has to go I think, and I'm very much on the fence as to who I'd prefer, far from a done deal but I guess we have a lot of people on here who'll believe any rumour after the Smeltz fiasco.
You know we belong together...

Moss leaves to sit on the bench at Melbourne, yeah that makes good sense becasue there's no way he's better than the clitoris (who hasnt confirmed he's leaving yet).nightz2008-11-17 17:47:17

The question is what is going to happen to Theoklitos? They said Moss would replace him so does that mean we could get Theoklitos as a replacement?

I also forgot to add that why would Melbourne want to use a foreign place on a gk when they already have a very good one?

Seems pretty odd to me. Langerak has the potential to be much better than Moss.

I'd much prefer we keep Moss than Paston, though. Paston is a hack imo.

btw does Moss have an Australian passport?

Doesn't matter, its who you represent internationally that sets whether you are an import or not. Passports don't mean a thing, unlike UEFA clubs where European players all qualify.

Wow.... That looks really goodYou sure he plays for Waitakere?

He's another attacking mid though not really what we need.

Just caught up with this. Is someone taking the p*ss.

Does the Adriano in the clip really play for Waitakere? Did he turn out against the Nix the other day? Any feedback on him? (Know they got hammered, but maybe this guy didn't play).

And another attacking mid would be fine by me if he can give our strikers good service and score a few himself.

We're not exactly flush with players like that or with goals at the moment.

(Anyone recognise the club/s he was playing for in the clip?)

He definitely plays for them. The only thing I find strange is how a champions league player ends up at Waitakere United at 26 years old

He played. Was utter crap, don't think he touched the ball in open play, and his set pieces were total arse.

I also find it strange. Maybe he's just had a loss of form. It happens.

I see Paulinho has just said that he was cr*p against the Nix, but Smeltz wasn't setting the English scene on fire when Ricki plucked him out of semi-pro obscurity for the All Whites and then the Phoenix. And that worked out okay.

Maybe with the right coach, Adriano could come back to the form he showed in that clip? Or is that just wishful thinking on my part?

Not good if we lose Moss. Especially after Smeltz. Paston's a solid keeper and I'd back him to do the job but if he does any more of those missaves like the weekend I'll definitly lose faith.

Ljubo Milicivic played champions league and the same level as Waitakere's Brazilian.

Having played and lost every CL match you have played doesn't make you a star.  Kind of proves that even Oska shouldn't give up on the dream yet.

Melbourne already have full international spots taken. I doubt they would get rid of a player to sign Moss.

just throwing it out there..do you think we'll at least try to buy Fred from DC Utd if he does well as a guest player? or would it be too expensive?

Also, how many years does Mossy have left on his contract? I think Paston is a good keeper and would do well in the A-League, but I'd prefer Moss as first choice keeper.
The only way I'd accept to lose Moss is if we get good money for him and re-invest that money on a big arse striker.

I saw that someone mentioned Bosnich. Seriously, may as well sign HN in goal :)

Mossy is out of contract at the end of the season, and do we really think he won't seriously look at an offer from one of the top sides in the league, with crowds of 30,000 ?

If I was Moss, I'd be very tempted to head over to a team the size of Melbourne. Not disrespect to the team I love, BUT if I'm going to be picked and dropped like a yoyo here at the Nix, I'd rather go play regular for Melbourne and play in the ACL.

He hasn't been picked and dropped like a yoyo though.  In the reverse of last season he got injured and Paston took his spot.

At no point was he dropped for a random reason he just hasn't managed to get back in the side.

You would have thought the same of someone else, but others influence decisions.

doesn't the number of international players allowed increase to 5 next season? if so melbourne wouldn't have to get rid of anyone

Correct, I can't remember him being dropped at all has he? Maybe a handy injury after the last Melbourne debacle here.

Yep 5 import spots next season, and if Theoklitos does go over seas, Mossy may be a great replacement.

Still don't see it happening. Langerak has shown that he is already up to it and was better than Moss in their last game against us. (though admittedly it's the worst i've ever seen Moss play)

More likely is Moss going to NQ imo.
