Shhh... don't break the news early Robb.

Guess I'd better get some pants on before the announcement.
That in itself takes longer than 90 minutes...

there was a small crew (including Ricki + tv crew) who turned up late to training but was raining so couldn't see, from my distant shelter, who was with him. poor form

No idea.

If I was taking a punt on someone non A-League or kiwi I'd say initials GA.

I can't think of anybody, even non-football with initials GA.  Someone help me?

Graham Alexander if we want a 39 year old defensive midfield defender. The fact he is unreal at penailties may be the reason they've called him a striker?

Gilardino, Alberto.

So, Dylan Macallister, our new target man. He's got the height...., what sort of fit do you think ,with Ifill  and Greenie up front?

(and while I twiddle my thumbs here ..an 8 page thread appears out of nowhere above!! doh!)

Let's get Gareth Edds. Right back, Aussie, released from Tranmere

Because what we need is a player in a position with lots of cover who's been chopped by his previous team.

How's my driving? - Whine here

Lots of cover at right back? You're joking. Hearfeild is clearly a better winger, and Muscat has played well in the midfield.

Sorry news, i have to say your wrong (didn't know it was possible till now) on this one and agree with Garcia.

Manny looks set to stay as a dm so we need another RB and Hearfield although i like him is still learning the position.

A good RB would go down a treat.

I'm sure Greenarce would be able to share his thoughts on his former team mate. I think Edds will head to the A-league now anyway.

So, my thoughtson the rest of the transfer season:

Clapham comes in to replace Caceres.

We then need to find a youth player to replace Costa, hopefully a young striker.

We then find Mully's replacement in the squad (difficult I know) and this is where we can make big improvements on last year. An attacking midfielder would be good, someone to play in the middle and offer something different to Timmy. Another striker could be a good option as well, and this means our youth player could be used up elsewhere (like wingback cover).

That would give us 20 players unless someone has a great World Cup and gets picked up overseas. 20 is what we want given we don't have a reserve team.

Edit: Oh and someone to take Ferrante's spot. How could I forget about him?

I'm guessing his hand slipped... note that F is next to G on the keyboard

That would be unprecedented levels of leave pass. Mind boggling really.

Eugene Dadi said this on Facebook:

Is saying: Yellow fever thank you for your support and love, all the very best for the season.

Don't think he'll be back. Thanks Eugene as well. A handy contribution for 6 months.

Just got told on Facebook by Tony Pignata that Marcus Tudgay was hard to get because of the money hes worth. I said think about using the Marquee on him cause he would be great to have. Also he told me the fixtures are coming out on Monday.

I think Tony P should  not look at saving money but look at spending money on a player that would more than return his paycheck in extra crowd numbers.
