I think someone at his school may have jumped the gun a bit there

Wow - that is good news.  Another promising local (ish) talent being nurtured by the Nix.

Yoof team next year is a must!

So wait, is he just training or is he McKain's injury cover player and could be selected ?

Just a trial. He won't be selected unless he signs a contract, which may be possible due to McKain's injury.

the phoenix should just sign him now he would be better than no centre back cover

Or they could save the costs and sign him when they really have to sign him. Right now, we can have Hearfield on the bench who could cover RB and move Manny in if Siggie or Dura got injured. And then if their injury is longterm sign him up then.

The Herald story a week and a half ago:

said he was born in Zimbabwe. Given that the Chronicle story says he was born in England, maybe it was his dad who was born in Zimbabwe?

Trailing and signing are two completely differents things, obviously he's a very talented player but incredible inexperienced and would get showned up in the a-league quick-smart.

Aaron scott would be better cover this year.

I'm a little surprised really.. As I said earlier, he played in my league (mid central manawatu, 2 below central league) over the past year. He didnt exactly set the pitch on fire, was a player to look out for, but I can see him getting shredded if he did get signed up. Does have a hell of a shot from distance though.

That kind of makes sense I guess. Bring back Plodder!

We could have a team of midfielders with Paston organising them.

Is this a glitch or is it likely that he has re-signed?
It says he has a new kit number (24) and the player statistics bar has also been placed at the bottom of the profile for the 2009-2010 season?
Could make sense as cover for Lia and Brown..

Gould also has a profile

At the risk of being suggested for a banning.. Shogan, you're a knob, get out from under that rock and watch a Nix game. Siggy is (imo) one of the best things to come out of the NZFC, and is more than worth of his spot in both Nix and AW's. Christie is a super sub at best.

Guys, he foolishly left his Fever account logged on. And his mates took advantage of him. It wasn't actually Shogan. It was a joke. Sorry about the misunderstanding.

Apparently Tazzie doesn't think his profile is too shady (or at least part of his profile).

Hi guys,

I found this on New Zealand Knights wikipedia talk page in the New Zealand Knights.

Not sure where else to post it.

Hi this is Kobby from Ghana, i want us to meet to you know talk on football Acadamy in Ghana if you recall Ghana has a lot of protencial footballers in the world. you can contact me on my cell phone, 233-249358771 , and e-mail botcdadda@yahoo.com. thank you. James.k.Botchway.

I have checked the I.P. address and it is from Ghana. I had checked and he is not listed as a player agent from the Ghana Football Association. I am sure that it is just a hopeful independent agent.
