Yeah. But they were lucky we only got one in the first half, too.

I think you'll find that ref has been in charge of most of our draws.  Coincidence?

Virtually? Literally gone for several long stretches, bertos fades heaps, would've liked to see chen on earlier, as someone said earlier there was no chance of surviving when we were backed in so much and they're right we needed to keep the ball in the midfield so much more

Another draw... Sure only lost two but how many have we drawn? I've lost count. My only worry is whether the crowd will keep coming. I certainly will but what about the rest of you???

There was nothing wrong with it. We didn't show any awareness whatsoever. If it's not in the rulebook, don't take it for granted. NQ had the ball when play was stopped too and it was our player on the ground. We didn't kick it out for them.

Why we wait until they equalize to attack again!!!

we were way too conservative in the 2nd half, not because they played well, but because we were too afraid to go forward, I think the draws are really haunting us, the players just want to hold on for a 1-0 win, so pissed off!!

On a lighter note, Mark Bosnich's hair is truly shocking.

Yes. He had nothing to do with that. We are not good enough.

I think that we start with Chen to extend his fitness out a bit and have Greenache on the bench to sweat a bit.

Who couldn't see that coming after Ifill missed that header, though?

To be honest ,we should have lost. They had 4 or 5 clear 1on1's.

Chen looked buggered after 5 mins. I'm not the hugest fan of Greenacre but he does a sh*tload of work pressuring the opposition and because our midfield disappears so often that is crucial.

Piss off... it was clear the should've made one pass before ripping off a through ball.

can't blame the ref for that draw. We dominated the first 45, then let them back into it after the break. No killer instinct in front of goal. Seriously beginning to wonder about Greenacre, even with decent deliveries he's not getting shots, nor doe she seem to be in position to take them. Dura played well, as did Paston for the main. Brown controlled the mid really well as did lia, just a pity that everyone drops off in the last 15 or so.

Me thinks its a Herbert tactic and/or mindset.

Absolutely not. We perhaps deserved to win most of the games we actually drew (i'm thinking at least 4), but only in the Adelaide game were we really screwed up by the ref.

Think about the last game vs NQF. We dominated the whole game, scored one and then nothing else. Couldn't score the second goal and in the end we got punished.
Coincidence? Yeah, we don't play that well and don't score goals. hence we draw!

Yeah, that's the only one I can think of where we managed to do the opposite.

Is it a fitness issue? I really don't know what it is but we can only seem to perform for 45 minutes in games!

A bit of perspective!

Half our team played the game of their lives in 30-odd degrees of heat just last week, have had to travel to the other side of the world and back and now turn out in 25 degrees tonight. Is it any wonder we ran out of legs in the 2nd half?

I'm pissed off we couldn't hold on for the win but we could easily have lost that game.

So some players took part in a 0-0 draw 7 days ago and they are still too tired?

Come on man, players do this around the world ALL the time. They are professional footballers who should be more than able to play 2 games in a week, no matter where the game was!

I think Steve-O's point earlier also refers to some of our other notable draws. Game of two halves, football is a funny old game, all credit to the opposition for taking the game to us, it ain't over until the final whistle, etc etc

We haven't maintained control of most of a match for a while.

yeah, I reckon the fitness call might come out, but it shouldn't. these guys are pros, they play and train football for a job. If you worked on a big project a week ago would your boss allow you to muck up the next assignment cos you were tired? Playing poorly in that second ha;f because some of the lads were tired is unacceptable.

I am going to say Greenacre is not doing enough to hold his position on the park. And Bertos needs to stop trying to do it all by himself.

We would be alot weaker without Greenie, the amount of work he does on d is immense and i hate to see ourmidfield pick up his slack when they showed today they can barely handle what they have got already.

I disagree (not just with you GF, but with Chen views)- I think given more game time Chen would be the new George. Just twice as hungry, less thumbs-up and punchy.
