I thought about that but we're getting more out of the 'partnership' than them with them advertising us at their game and us getting a lot of their fans over for the bbq.

Please tell me you didn't seriously think about getting angsty because of the cross promotion?

No, not really.  Though I don't like being connected with rugby at all.

You know inferior sport and all.

This Braveheart lad is a legend Phoenix fan. Been charging around our work encouraging people to go to games, sending many big emails around. Wasn't nominated to put a lot of tickets on his card - he made half of them!! A few people wouldn't be going to their 2nd or 3rd Phoenix game if it wasn't for this Braveheart fulla. Ended up getting just under 30 in our group. Legend.

Brettdale, aren't you fuming that during a Rugby story Ian Jones mentioned the Phoenix? Its a Rugby story, you can't reference cross code!

Cheers Tigers, but please do not mention World Cup funding to the Mrs - it is a bit of a touchy subject.

I managed to snap up the last available group of seats in upper aisle 19. There are 29 of us (mainly Wgtn Marist dafties) three rows deep, about three quarters of the way up, directly next to the fever zone.

Fantastic spot!

Unofficially designate aisle 12 as an alternate? Makes a nice counterpoint to 21!

I hope there's a decent away section too, bit of a novelty last November and it's be good to see again.

Do you not think that if the fever zone was to grow (for a one-off crunch match) it would make more sense to expand into aisle 19 or 23?

Perhaps it could be looked into for our upcoming playoff game at the ROF against Newcastle?

Yea, it would make sense to expand it next to the existing zone. If (when?) we have a home semi next week, that should really be looked at.

Request to YF Exec: For one match only, any chance of expanding the Fever Zone?

Bit beyond our control mate. It's not a case of designating where the Zone is, it's all about where the fans are (which is mostly between 21 and 22...or 22L and 21R if you're a ticketek nerd like News).

For what it's worth Me, Newsy, 2ndbest, Santy, Feverish, wingbak4eva, el_grap, Pink Pantherand most of the regulars will be around Aisle 22, Row H, seat 100...we have a three row deep bunch about there.

So at least you know that if you're in a really sh*t spot and want to jam in then we'll probably let you.

Thanks for the update Smithy, I appreciate it.

Mitchell is obviously trying to pull a sly one by saying for the last week than Burns and Sterj were unlikely to play etc.

So obviously bullsh*t
