I hope we don't sink as low as Heskey scoring against us.

cant imagine we will see many changes, but i wouldnt mind us adopting a midfield 3 when playing away with Ifill dropping out and lia coming in

If we win this, it'll be a dead-set miracle.

I reckon nix at $4.50 is pretty good. Even a draw at $3.40

I need to get my retirement fund back in the black.  Maybe a quick investment tomorrow.

Has he scored a goal from further than 6 yards out yet? Dura & Siggy should be well equipped to handle the physical presence he brings. We just need to hope Thugo doesn't causing any flare ups at corners.

Ever since the A league started the Jets have never impressed me and we have usually been the better side. This game on Sunday is no different  as far as i am concerned.

Would not bet my house on it but am reasonably confident of 3 points.

I am going to go on the record now and say that these two away games are going to be the turning point of our season. A win and a draw. I'm just not sure in which order.

Don't stop believin' fellas.

If you bet your house on it you'll end up with 4 houses

Candidate for the Frankie Mac game?

Might not apply to this game but all our gear from last weekend has gone in the washing machine.  And a spoonful of "bad vibes away" added to the wash.

Half a house would get you two houses.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Nix paying $4.50. for your one house you would get 4 and a half back!

Our record against the Jets is 11 wins, 1 draw and 4 losses. Normally I would say we have a great chance of picking up the 3 points, even if we are playing away. But the midweek travel to China worries me, much more than the fact the Jets have Heskey.

Half the team being away means we can't work on fixing any issues from last weekend. Still hopeful for 3 points tho.

[Edit: Should point out we are 3 wins, 1 draw, 3 losses away at the Hunter Stadium]

From what I've seen of Thiago (and Manny) so far, things haven't changed much - so I reckon it's gonna be a fiery encounter..

the AW lads are expected to be available for this game from what I've read.

Think he means the AW away from training to work on any problems from previous weeks.

Yeah, I think I read somewhere that they flew out Monday morning. They will be back for the game, but training with half your squad away isn't really gonna help much.

That must be the team we have the best away record against!

I want to see:

(No chance of happening)

Moss

Rowe - Sigmund - Dura - Lochhead

Muscat - Smith

Brockie - Fenton - Ifill

You don't want to throw Rowe into an unfamiliar position with him having very little experience. He's a very left-sided fullback but I would like to see him ahead of Lochhead. Wouldn't mind seeing Fenton there though, he's familiar with it at lower level.

Fuck this stupid game

If we play the same XI as against CCM I despair for our season

Normo's coming home

would love to see Louie in a central role, or even growing to idea of ifill playing there. Brockie has to be on the wing and Ifill can't have any defensive duties

If he doesn't play, I think we might play Lia in the midfield rather than play another striker.

Excuse my ignorance, but how far away is Dani Sanchez from returning?

He played the midweek game against Auckland I think. So shouldn't be too far off.

Agree with up front - Lia will come in now for Stein - only change.
