LOL @ Benji. Just his momentum prevented him from turning far enough at the end.

All the hard work and butchered it.  Just needed to lay it off to Brockie for the hattrick.  Showed all of the best, and worst features of his game in one play!

Fantastic skill there.... but a really bad finish, should have passed. Let the hate commence.

I hate to say it. He has just proven me right. Needs to improve decision making.

Ricki is very aggressive in his greeting off players when they come off the pitch...

I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

For sheer frustration that miss goes down with Vukovic's off-the-bar 'shot'.

True . But 3-0 up , has to have a go... no ?

He did all the hard work and I was ready to embrace the Totori love, and then he went and did that. Pure lols.

Great result though, just what we needed.

The best thing about this game was the 3 points. A great result which I did think we would get.

Quite frankly this was one of the worst games of the season. The Jets should be in 10th place, which is where they will probably be at the end of the season. To win 3-0 away was great and I'm glad I did not go to the beach but we will have to be a lot better next week if we want to get anything out of Perth.

I agree, has to have a go.  Was willing him to score, I want him to do well,  he certainly is quick

Gutsy guys. Body on the line stuff but had to be. Defensively so much better - Bertos probably his best game at rb. Lia hacking away deep in the midfield with Muscat made a big difference against a combative side like Newcastle. Still don't know why it takes an early season slump to wake us up  - but pleased for owners, who've spent up on this next week away in Oz.

No. Needs to play simple square ball for certain goal. Again tries to do too much.

We should probably be glad he got fouled for the pen because otherwise would have found a way to fuck that up too.

OK Let the hate begin. I know it doesn't matter that Totori stuffed up in the context of this match, but imagine if it was 1-1 when this happened? This is a team game and that kind of decision making is at the best *poor*.Still we won, they lost. Suck on that Jets supporters. Bloody delighted with 3 points.(and Liverpool scored 3 goals to, and so all is right with the world)

Hey you bastards I'm still here.

formation change made a difference
plus Jet's missing players
and compared to CCM/MV this was a totally different standard (mind you last night was a beaut)
but big step in the right direction

I had that very same thought during the 2nd half. It was along the lines of 'How are Newcastle so high when they are so shithouse'. I do agree that this was a rather poor game of football and was definitely slower than the other games of the round.

Ifill should have let Brockie take the pen for his hattrick

Totori was actually playing well before his miss. Very good result though happy with the 3 points

yeh, but the coaching staff will be able to run this one by him
he's exciting, love his play
so long as he improves, with experience, and begins getting this sort of decision right more often, we could have a very goodun

Great result, had to watch at the in-laws and one in law thought Totori's name was Vettori.  Lol.  I didn't care how we won as long as we won.  Goodbye to 10th spot, hello 6th spot.

Ifill wouldn't have felt anything with the 'fro as padding.

Yep

Jets were truely awful.

Ifill looked slow but had enough class when it counted.

Brockie can finish (Totori cant, it appears)

The formation certainly made hell of a change, considering we won and I thought Smith, Lia and Muscat were pants for the most part.

that is easy, it comes down to winning, not sentiment. Ifill is proven at the spot kick

Yes, perhaps *hate* is too strong.  Call it passion.  Agree that Totori has potential and I hope he becomes better.  (and yes, Man U, LOL). Basking in the after-glow.

Not for me.  Ifill is the nominated penalty taker and buried the first one he took against MH and this one to prove that is the right option.  No room for sentiment.  Goal difference is paramount in what might very well end up a tight table come the end of the competition
