Going to be tough to match pre season without any students left

does this mean we won't be returning to Dunedin, or just Dunedin after uni finishes?

It's a FFA run game, so not sure they understood the dynamics of Dunedin. A game around orientation would have been better I'm sure.

As long as we get a better crowd than what there was in the Latrobe valley last week vs Heart. Don't think it was very high. Said they were aiming for 6000 on Wednesday. hope there are a lot of late comers as there tends to be in Dunedin

Two factors at play here

- locals notorious for buying tickets late

- management deciding that they would slap on a "Game Day Surcharge" to ticket prices ($34 instead of $28 for adults).

Will be interesting to see how the game day surcharge affects the walkup.

Yes the pricing has been marketed as a "pre-sale discount" but most will see it as a Game Day Penalty. Furthermore the pre-sale prices are exactly the same as the pricing for the August match so it doesn't exactly feel like a "discount", rather avoiding the penalty for game day purchases.

Interesting game this one. Nix will be encouraged by Brisbane's recent poor record but after last night I don't think the Roar will be too intimidated by us either.

It may be Monday when Nix fly down but noone tells me any of these things so it's not particularly accurate. ahmad2011-12-11 11:03:12

A2 would be good I think? How much was it? I could print a bunch of A3s so having an A2 would be good?

$2.50 from Whitcoulls. I'll leave it at A2.

Will you join us in the group of 40? What aisle are your tickets in? I hope we can have a cluster of signs for effect.

I'm in the Fever Zone, Section 406. Doesn't sound like the stadium will be very full so I will be able to move to where you guys are for the signs.

Depends how anal security gets.

Check your ticket. Either you got the aisle wrong or Ticket Direct fails yet again.

Seats are sequential from 1 through 270 along the stand. We are around "90" so probably not far from your allocated place.

^^ Superb effort.

Can't recall which side of 90 but yeah we'll find each other.

Someone remember to ask a security guard on the pitch to take photos of the signs.

I'm hoping the official photographers will do it, although we hoped that about the Thanks Terry sign and none of them took a photo of it...

Yeh they had this unadvertised BS in Auckland- and an incredibly slow rate of ticket processing too! we thought about buying a fmaily of 3 or 4 and saying the kids had f*d off cos it was cheaper!

nah, just someone who has zero respect for a team that went 36 games undefeated. He's giving Nix fans a bad name. It's not a surprise when fans of the other A-League teams don't want us in their comp when you get douches like that.

I love a bit of banter, but show some respect as well. Cause our record isn't much.

If those other fans are going to paint us all with the same brush as that dick then they're no better really.
