I'm not blaming Crowther for the loss even though thats what it reads like.

I am saying he is not good enough for this level based on his lack of experience. He had some great saves that could have made the scoreline worse and fair play to the lad for that. He just stands out more because his blunders were that comical. If you look back through the thread, the amount of people that tee off at Crowther vs others is quite one sided (Horsehead aside). The rest of the squad however are up to this standard and never played well sans Durante. This is a collective team loss in that 1/11 played anywhere near anything resembling an A League player.

school holidays....goes off for a look a tradme where at least the garbage is good humoured...the team do look like they are not all in it together......its been bad two weeks tho and they must be disappointed at how its blown away and made it harder to get to top 6. Still at least Sydney were much higher up os its not a double whammy..

A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen

I can see where WPF is coming from. Crowther is going to need a lot of work still but thats evidenced by the fact that most keepers mature late. Seaman, Shilton, Schmichael (not in the same league but you get the point)

+ He is a great shot stopper and would give Moss a run in that category

- Organisationally weak
- Basic errors.

He was not at fault and will improve, but at the rate we need him to?
